25 points from 39 points ...will put us on 46 points and possible 10th or 11th place finish.....we could even afford to drop 5 or 6 points if you think I'm being too optimistic and we''ll still be safe by April ....as AM said there's a long way to go,the season finishes in mid May,NOT the first weekend of February

Have some FAITH in the new regime,People  :applause:  :applause:

bless you parti ,
you always make me smile.4 wins out of the next 6,i hope you are right,i really do.

The thing is,matey the HARD fact is we really do need to win 3 or 4 out of the next 6

If we lose the next FOUR...we could find ourselves in a very deep hole

The time for sentiment is over .....we performed heroically v Manchester United ,Arsenal and Chelsea and got 1 point to show it............the plaudits of 'You're TOO good to go down"" won't help if we don't put points on the board

Alex Mac is a hard guy and you better be assured that the players are going to hear some hard truths and rants from him this week in training

Yes,we can rightly argue.......De Ridder should be in,Forse should be in ,Jermone should be in,Nafti needs to come back quick......Maik Taylor should be out,O Connor should be out etc etc and let's be honest we know they have the ability but it is High Time the likes of Kapo and Muamba start doing it more consistently from now on.....we know they are excellent players ....but the time to prove it is now starting at Upton Park next Saturday

We can all argue on here till we are BLUE in the face about who should be in and who shpuld be dropped ....ALL of the players have to start earning their keep from now on

My only criticism of Big Eck and this is the first time for me is that MacFadden and O Connor won't work......he has to play The Forse or Jerome with MacFadden and I think he also needs to give Zarate more starts from now on

Come on Blues

But we're impossible to predict a the moment.

Like most of us (I guess) - I'd got us down for no points and probably a big addition to our goals against column in the three matches against Man Ure, Arsenal & Chelski and what happens - 3 great performances, one point and only -2 added to the goal difference.
Then a minimum of 4 points if not 6 from the Sunderland and Derby matches and what do we get - two shi*e results with only one point.

I can't see where we going to get another 5-8 points from after those last two matches, let alone 15-18 but then who knows what sort of performance we're going to come up with?

hmm i can see your point, but the last two results have really put a downer on my feelings about our survival chances, been honest now i think ...........

Come on Blues

thats why i keep saying and it applied to Brucie as well,
THE PLAYERS NEED TO GET THEIR FINGERS OUT NOW,
we can harp on about systems tactics the managers but if those 11 players on that pitch are not giving 100% every single game ,it should be a minimum requirement every game,
they need to remember what they were coached ,pass and move ,its a simple game,
i said before the Sunderland game if you go on the pitch in these type of games you have to win the BATTLE then you go on to win the game,if you go out thinking there is no battle then you end up where we now are,
time for faffing is over now.

i do remember some of our past relegation battles when we played like championship contenders towards the end of the season, with long unbeaten spells...
so i would like to believe that the end-of-season 9 match unbeaten run you have suggested could materialise...
not sure if we can do that, but i have us finishing strongly as well and still possibly surviving...KRO

Not too far off with those played, but 10th looks a bit iffy now!
