Three Guineas mate right outside the train station, then get the football special bus (no 79) which takes you to and from the ground for around 2.50 |

Cutz, there is usually a cheaper discounted fare button/link above the more expensive fares table on the Virgin Trains site. I got a return ticket Bournemouth - Reading for £18, just last week. One from New Street should be under £30. But if you don't click the button, they will only show standard fares, which as you say, are very expensive!! Good luck! **thumbup |

Lol, cheers but i am totally confused on there, i set it all up and it says direct cross country service to reading, 1 hour and 30 mins, i click buy tickets and it changes to three trains taking 3 and a half hours and the price is sky high, cant find discount button either. Cutz EDIT: I have found the cheapest so far to be 50 quid for 2 adult tickets return from new street to reading, quick times etc, but the website is www.raileasy.co.uk, dont know whether i can trust anyone but virgin. |

Cheers mate, also tried doing the 2 singles on the Virgin website, works a treat. Just under 25 quid return. If i have a concession ticket for the game but am 16 as it was under 16s, you reckon i could get a childs ticket on the train for under 16s? Cutz |

Can you get done for fraud if they find out you are lieing about your age ? I would still risk it,chances of getting caught are realy slim. |
