I believe mondays game is massive for both, whoever wins this one will pull themselves out of it and stay up, Blues really have to turn it on, 3 points monday drops Newcastle right in the brown stuff.

What Team would you go for?

I'm worried that this could be the game where Newcy finally get themselves together and hand out a thumping. however, if we were to beat them, it would be a massive boost to us by leap-frogging them in the table. Hopefully, Bolton wont beat Wigan on Sunday, and surely the Mancs will beat them next Wednesday, so if we beat newcastle, it'll give us a bit of space! Roll on Monday.......

i hope we win this one. The next two games are so important for us Newcastle and Reading we need at least 4 points if not its going to be very hard to stay up

This games already giving me that sick feeling, it's just going to be excruciating, I should imagine it'll be a good game for the neutral.

As long as we win. It'll be funny to see Keegan crumble away a bit more.

Taylor
Kelly, Jaidi, Ridgewell (last chance or I'd put Taylor back in after his suspension runs out), Murphy
Larsson, Johnson, Muamba, McSheffrey
Forrsell, McFadden

Can't make it to the game, forgot we had meal booked, but just found out the pub we're going to has Setanta and a 42" Plasma screen in the bar area. :)

very interesting stat

newcastle have conceded 32 goals in 14 away games

more than 2 goals conceded every away game

i think all we need to do is score first and we halfway there to winning

i think another 3 wins should get us 95% safe

No. The only area I'd change from the last game is McFadden to start in place of Zarate and the rest of the attack I'd leave well enough alone. Attacking is not our problem area at the moment, its defence.

The only area of defence I'd switch around at the moment is the CB positions. MAYBE Schmitz in for Ridgewell, if not, I'd leave him there until Taylors suspensions ends after the Newcastle game.

Mee too I have got that feeling in my gut at the moment when you think please god blues just dont loose this game, hopefully all will go well, we have had great performances over the last 4 weeks or so, if we carry on this spirit and fight we should be fine.

You should all stop worrying Sunderland will loose to Chealse, Wigan and Bolton play eadh other one may loose there, Reading away to liverpool, Boro should loose at Arsenal, and Fullam have inform Everton, So as i see it we have what should be the easy one if there is an easy one, So depending on how all these games go a draw could turn out to be a good result, I think it is a must not loose game rather than a must win game.

I see Sky are reporting Kevin keegan as saying they have a TEN game run in ..except they have only 9 games left...perhaps he is leaving it till the last one to avoid relegation.

The biggest thing that is worrying me is that they havn't won in 12 games, a lot of teams seem to win when there is a chance of a 13th straight loss, it's psycological IMO.
