I don't. The crowd were non-existant. The only ones you could hear were the geordies. Shocking.

That was a repeat performance of the sunderland match, long balls going nowhere, everytime we play a through ball it is passed too far and gives the player too much to do, we were awfull, we never closed anyone down, defence making stupid errors again , midfield give the ball away everytime they get it, mcsheffrey was awfull.

Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish. I'm afraid we gave that game away again by making some sloppy mistakes. Why do we never come out strong after half time.

I really wish someone would give the midfield a rocket up where it hurts for tonight. The amount of clearences that went into open space in our own half without a challenge. Johnson and Muamba really do blow hot and too cold for me.

After that second half I find myself happy with a point. Awful second half, and after such a promising first 45. Why? :S Bet McLeish is puzzled as well. Was thinking we could kill them off after the first...but again, we can't seem to take advantage of being in a good position. Disappointing.

our midfield looked over run 2nd half

jonty was chasing shadows

once again one of our best players this season goes off due to some nasty tackles and we start to bottle it

just shows the depth our poor old manager has got to play with, saying that i think bringing on parnaby was a negative move, i would of brought on nafti and put jonty on the wing

4 point from last 3 games isnt bad considering the quality of the opposition

Ok we got a point and it was two points lost but the thing that peeved me off tonight was Jerome. I like the bloke but when he come on, he never ran down anything, couldnt control the ball and he just kept losing it. I have always said that he will be a good player in the future for us but on that performance he doesnt deserve to be on the bench if he is going to come on and just make up the number, there was absolutly no fight in him. Apart from that the performance in the first half was good but the second half we just had no creativity and no one with that little bit of spark. I really do hope Seb isnt to badly injured because it looks like he makes Birmingham City Football Club.

Johnson and Muamba really do blow hot and too cold for me.

Thats Muamba all over at the moment. Does something great then next minute he does something shocking. No consistency, which is so frustrating because he is clearly talented.

Why do all the half chances drop to him as well lol

Wasnt the best result but not to bad? Newcastle were the better side and could have won it.
At least we move up a place. Not a bad result at all.

I can say this now were gonna bein this scrap till the end and all hopes of hopefully getting ourselves clear with a few wins are shattered really, we are either gonna go down by not winning at home against the teams around us or are gonna do a west ham :(

And it pains me to say this but tonight we wernt good enough.

A point needed. Thought we lost a lot of our attacking threat when Seb gone taken off, really hope he'll be ok for Sat. At least we didn't lose and that is important, a point a game average from now on will see us safe i think.

And it pains me to say this but tonigh we wernt good enough.

Were more than good enough to stay up given our first half performance. Because although Newcastle were poor we showed a good determination. Second half we weren't. Flip a coin. Tails we stay up :)

I think tonight was not just about us getting points, but was to stop Newcastle getting anything out of the game and we didn't do that. Newcastle will be by far the happier side after the 90 minutes.

cant believe the reactions of some fans on these boards

we are down the bottom for a reason, we got a weak skeleton squad with boardroom turmoil for most of it, owners who wanted out before xmas and a manager who bought rubbish

for a start we could be derby atm !, atleast we are still in with a great shout of staying up this season

under bruce do you think we would of got 4 points from spurs and newcastle at home ?

two massive clubs who have players who cost more than our whole squad

You could say that we won the first half and they won the second.

I worry about the tiny amount of possession we have in most games, we really need to hold onto the ball better, the main culprite is Muamba he gave some really stupid balls away tonight.

The rubbish like McFadden who scored our only goal and Murphy who was arguably our best defender?

The majority of us are just a tad disappointed really. Which is acceptable because our second half just wasn't there. Yes, Newcastle are a big club who have spent alot over the years but we were going well and then it suddenly disappeared.

think you are talking about the wrong manager

LOOK, the two players who have made a difference in the last 8 weeks are the ones that mcleish has brought in

doesn't this just show what a job mcleish has on his hands

yes Newcastle played to the level expected in the 2nd half considering the players they have

we are lucky we didnt lose the game cos many of our players bottled it when it mattered

reminds me of arsenal home a few weeks back, when top players all start performing at the same time any club will struggle against em, atleast we started to fight back when it mattered !

Yes agreed I understand what you are saying but why oh why dont we perfom against the teams around us I mean I know this is all ifs and buts but IF we had beat fulham, reading, derby, sunderland home and away, and newcastle tonight, taking away all the points from draws which equals from 27 points thats 21 points , now then say they were all wins in which all bar the sunderland game away we were poor we should have won, thats 18 points onto 21 so thats 39 points = Safe.

Say we lost to sunderland away but beat both Derby and Newcastle today that still would have been an extra 5 points of what we got now even if we drawed all the games in which we have done all bar the derby and newcastle one today, that still would be 32 points and a high chance of staying up, we have a lot of left to do and have got to get three points from our next game no matter who were are against.

looked as if newcastle were going out to nobble him

butt went in a few times late

the only reason why we are in this position is cos we didnt take 6 points from reading and derby at home

we have really fuxxed up in some vital games the last 3 months

oh well blues never do it the easy way, we can beat spurs home and away and get 2 points from arsenal this season but we cant beat the worst team in the league at home !
