Seems like the same old story, DeRidder tearing up the reserves!

Come on Alex, give him a shot against a pretty slow Reading back 4!

Lets go for 3 points!

I think Taylor got one of the assists, not De Ridder. It was De Ridders corner but Taylors flick on

3 assists by De Ridder

If that performance doesnt make him deserving of first team consideration, then nothing De Ridder does will.

Hate to be pedantic but 2 assists. Taylor got an assist and De Ridder got the other two.

Yeah, indeed... two assists, but he was involved at all three of the goals. I can't believe he doesn't get a chance in the first team
He doesn't has to play at the first eleven right away, but give him a place on the bench at least. I read that Larsson has picked up an injury... bad for him, but maybe De Ridder wil get a chance now...

 I didn't say that. I just think Taylor needs some credit too.

well from the sounds of it there doesn't seem to be much more De Ridder can do to get a shot at the 1st team, if Larsson is eevn carrying a slight niggle no point risking him against what SHOULD be a beatable Reading team.

Garry O scored two.

Lets play him.

Reserve football is distinctly inferior to first team football.

I was there until half time, it was too bleedin cold to stay any longer, Di Ridder did ok, his free kick for O'Connor to slot in was very good, he gave the ball away alot, although I sometimes think that was due to not enough back up.

He should be given a chance, but by the same token, so should O'Connor, if you go by what they are both doing in the reserves.
