Three results thats all could make us almost safe this weekend Man city to beat Bolton please. and Newcastle to beat Fullam please. and us to beat Reading of course. I think the season would be over for them two if they lost. P.S The villa have done us no favours so far and they still have Sunderland at home and Bolton at home. |

I suppose but I'd rather as many teams were in the relegation battle as possible (apart from us obviously! :P ) and don't want to see Newcastle pulling away from it. |

Lars, seven points for fullam to pull back would almost be imposable, and newcastle will escape anyway. |

Remember Portsmouth 2 seasons back? I know they had alot of money to spend on players and they started playing towards the end of the season but Fulham might have that bit of belive now after beating Everton and having the likes of Jimmy Bullard back. I wouldent rule any of the bottom 8 teams out yet, excluding Derby ofcourse. |

Seven points and our goal diff = Fullam would need to win 3 games more than us with seven games to go thats a win rate of almost 50% they aint done that for five thousand games. |

Fulham are only 4 points behind us right now. If they drew with Newcastle, they'd still only be 3 points behind us and Sunderland (assuming we both lose). And I don't think Newcastle will pull away quite so easily. I think Fulham will probably win, in all fairness. But I'm hoping for a draw. I hope from now until the end of the season, when any of us in the bottom eight play each other (excluding Brum again of course!!) that the result is a draw. Let the teams higher up in the table get all 3 points from their fixtures. |

sorry Lars cant agree, this post was assuming we beat Reading and in that case the best results for us would be for Fullam and Bolton to both loose, making it almost game over for them both i couldnt give a hoot about Newcastle, what you have to remember is the games would run out on Bolton and Fullam. I cant see anyway back for them if they both loose and we win. p.s Boltn have Arsenal next week He He. |

i'd rather see newcastle beat fulham , the more they and bolton lose keeps us up. if we contuinue to grab points and the odd win we will stay up what we dont need is them picking up points the same as us. |

Considering Fulham have not won away from home since September 2006 I'd say this is Keegans best chance to get his 1st win. |

You've lost me. Why beat Reading of course? They are in the relegation mix and here's our record against our relegation mini league rivals since AMc took over Reading home drew 1-1 Bolton away lost 0-3 Fulham home drew 1-1 Sunderland away lost 0-2 Derby home drew 1-1 Newcastle home drew 1-1 Hardly inspiring is it? I think you're living in the past, when Blues used to do it against our relegation rivals. As for Villa doing us no favours - what about them beating Reading (twice), drew Sunderland, beat Newcastle, drew Bolton, beat Wigan. |

Fulham and Bolton could easily win. I don't think Fulham are down by a long shot not with the games they have left to play. Bolton have a really hard run in. Sunderland, Newcastle and Bluews all have to worry about Fulham. The run in is below http://z4.invisionfree.com/BLUES_FORUM/ind...opic=40446&st=0 |

We all have our feelings about the games on Saturday but my feelings are these; We will win 2-1 and Fulham will also win by the same score (or both win by the odd goal). Sunderland will lose and Bolton will draw. So at full time it could look lke this: Blues 30 Newcastle 29 Reading 28 Sunderland 27 Bolton 26 Fulham 26 Today there is a 6 point difference involving these six teams but by this time tomorrow it could be down to 4 points. I have only included the six teams which, at present, have the most immediate impact on us. Therefore Borough or Wigan are excluded. |
