People on this forum have all a sudden gone all doom and gloom again.
Ok fair enough we have lost to one of our relegation rivals but that doesnt relegate us., we drew to another relegation rival, that hasnt relegated us and we still havetn droped into the bottom three.
Bolton nor fulham can grab points for love nor money so with seven games to go blues have premiership ssurvival still in there own hands.
I still cant belive people slating AM. Seriously, he has brought in mcfadden and murphy and they have been solid and one of the better performers. Zarate, a risk yes but we can say if that pays off at the end of the season not now. We are scoring more goals and creating more chances, but still leasky at the back. Simple as our centre backs arnt good enough but Am cant change them over night. He has to stick with what he has got till the end of the season and hope the attacking play that he has brought to the club pays off. Everyone was crying out for better football not hoofball and they have got that and now they are moaning that results still arnt coming our way. Whos fault is that... its not his.

So all im saying is get behind the team and stop thinking its all doom or gloom. It may sound easy but all we have to do is make sure we are out of that relgation zone week in and week out from now to blackburn at the end of the season.

Chins up and lets get behind the lads and beat man city, whos away form is dreadfull.

KEEP RIGHT ON TILL THE END OF THE ROAD....

As you go through life, it's a long, long road,
There be joy's and sorrows too.
As we journey on, we will sing this song
For the boys in royal blue.
We're often partisan, la, la, la,
We will journey on, la, la, la.

Keep right on to the end of the road,
Keep right on to the end.
Though the way be long, Let your hearts be strong,
Keep right on to the end.
Though you're tired and weary, Still journey on,
Till you come to your happy abode,
With all the love, we'll be dreaming of.
Will be there, WHERE?
At the end of the Road.
Birmingham! Birmingham!

yup just like derby mate, those results are in the past and thats what your always bringing up the past. Man city went to reading and lost, Spurs come to Blues and lost arsenal come to blues and drew. We have lost once in the last seven at home and that was to a great performance against chelsea. I know we have only won one under Am at home but our home form is what will keep us up not reults away.

Can you pin this message of yours mate?

:LMAO:

Every thread I go on has this rubbish, whats it supposed to mean?
Did you predict these results - of course you didn't.

You are just another brucie fan that is making the most of any setback or stumble we have.

Do you support blues lowdham? Or do you just hate everyone who supports our club? Or that was happy to se Brucie bugggar off?

The latter I presume is giving you the red mist. Go and lie down in a dark room, think about why you should support blues and come back when you are feeling better.

In the meantime, please keep this perpetual list off the Silly Game.

:LMAO:

I suppose the one bright spot is that despite our best attempts to shot ourselves in the foot we are managing to stay out of the bottom three. This does prove that there are teams as bad if not worse than us. I do still believe we will stay up but the margin of error is going to be pretty thin.

I'm usually a glass half full rather than half empty type, but I've been feeling pretty bad about our prospects since the turn of the year tbh. I think the damage has already been done - yes we've only lost 1 in 7 of our last home games but we've drawn a good number that we shoud have won and our away form has deteriorated over the season.

After recently posting that we were too unpredictable to forecast our results I'll try and (realistically) do just that for our remaining fixtures:

Man City (H) - they've got a poor away record so we should win
Wigan (A) - SB factor, pitch, 6-pointer - fear we'll lose
Everton (H) - only conceded 3 goals in last 10 matches, 7 clean sheets - challenging for 4th spot - lose
Vile (A) - we can't keep a clean sheet away from home - Ridgewell factor - sorry - lose
Liverpool (H) - usually do well against them, but again they're desperate for 4th place - draw at best
Fulham (A) - decent home form, either already relegated with no pressure or have got back in touch and are scrapping for their lives - hate to say it but - lose
Blackburn (H) - nothing to play for - win

That's 7 points from 7 matches, 34 points in total - not enough. However if we can pick up one more win from somewhere 37 points (together with our relative decent goal difference) probably will be enough.

So in this scenario our next match and the last match of the season could be the clinchers - watch this space!!!

Every time I hear it sung I cringe cos there's a sort of

"Where ah-aaah and you're dreaming of..."

which just sounds poor. Cos thousands don't even know the words to our own song!!!

But then, we are poor, quite often. Even if some people think that the mere mention of those words will strike abject fear and apathy into the hearts of professional sportsmen paid thousands to perform to the best of their ability in a public fray. When they under-perform, I think we have the right to gripe about it. Just like we cheer ourselves hoarse when they turn in a performance that earns them their wages and makes us proud.

So looking at that it's easy to see that it's our utter inconsistency that is killing us. If the players could hit a constant at least we would all know what to expect, but hardly any result has been predictable with our peaks and troughs this season so far.

At least it's an interesting ride being a Bluenose. Imagine how horrible it must be, supporting a team in a red shirt and winning week in, week out. Boring or what!

Anyway - we will stay up.

Then we can judge AM next year.
