no matter what anyone says brucie would have us around 12th or 11th position with the last 10 games weve had and he wouldhave bought better in the transfer window. he wasnt scared to drop jonty when he wasnt playing well (like at the moment), and forsell would play week in, week out for most of the season, dispite the early season fall out. the board seem to support mcliesh, but there is always a limit to how much they will spend half way throught he season. its everyones fault were in this and i hope we go down to give the board a reality check because it hasnt happened for us this season at all. our win percentage was higher wth brucie than the ex-scotland manager who beat france. how depressin |

mcleish is sufferring the same fate as brucie would have. the board are only interested in keeping blues up on the cheap, half-hearted efforts during this transfer window to sign players compared to no effort at all 2 years ago just doesnt add up to any real improvement in the areas where it was needed. start of the season we all knew jaidi and taylor were not up to the pace in truth and we had to wait and see whether ridgewell was gonna be any better. did we improve that area of the team? no! would we have under bruce? no! we'd be about the same now under bruce as what we are. bruce left because he knew wigan had slightly better players than us and therefore a better chance of surivival for HIMSELF in the prem. sunderland have spent untold millions just so that their team SLIGHTLY better than ours the investment that was needed for us to be safe with 2 games to spare just wasnt there. we may still pull it off but it will be close. get behind the lads at wigan and fulham and you never know! |
