Absolutely gutted that we did not get at least a point today at Reading but as usual it's poor defending that cost us once more.........How many times do we keep on saying it ??

Well where as the Reading (home) Fulham (home) mid - late December ,Sunderland (away), Derby (home) Newcastle (home) and Reading (away) games were all six pointers we have managed 5 points from a possible 18 in these games so if we do go down we only have ourselves to blame

And to make matters worse we have lost Ridgewell for 2 games (suspended) and MacFadders for three games (knee surgery) ........it never rains for Blues it pours don't it ?? :banghead:

One good thing is that we may have Kapo back so I think AM has to play Zarate and Kapo as support for The Forse with a 3 man midfield of Muamba,Nafti and Larsson......I thought all 3 players did well today

I honestly think it could be a mistake to bring Martin Taylor back so early after the Eduardo incident ....there is way too much pressure on the bloke and the whole world will scrutinise every challenge he makes and I think most of us on here know he's not the quickest defender around is he ??

I think AM has to put Kelly in the middle alongside Jaidi and play Parnaby at RB OR just bring Schmitz back in who when he has appeared as a centre back has not done such a bad job

The Man City and Wigan games carry even more importance now obviously and we need at least 4 points from these 2 games otherwise I really fear the worst.........and I'm normally one of the most optimistic blokes on this Forum

Every game becomes more inportant than the last at this stage of the season.

Eight points will probably be enough - whichever game you get them in.

Better to bring Taylor back in at home rather than away. He will get massive support next week if he plays.

Taylor will cope with pressure I'm sure. If we lose to Man City next week and Fulham win (at Derby) they will be breathing down our necks too! < <

To be honest I think we are going to need NINE points

But I actually predict we will get 12

Man City (H) 3 points
Wigan (A) 3 points
Everton (H) 1 point
Vile (A) 3 points
Liverpool (H) 0 points
Fulham (A) 1 point
Blackburn (H) 1 point

Switch a draw at Wigan with a win at Fulham and even that will still put us on 39 points come May 11th :applause: :applause:

I think either way you cut it we still need 3 wins to be guarenteed safety .....the sooner the better.....in fact we could even be safe (depending on other results of course) by the time we play Vile or Liverpool
