A few weeks ago I heard AM giving an interview, when he was asked if he was having a go at his players winding them up for the challenges ahead. At the time AM said no he respected the players as mature enough to understand the predicament and he would spare the rod.

Does anyone think maybe AM needs to have a rethink, it appears to me that everytime we go into an important match the opposition are up for it more than Blues, certainly you could see the relief on the Reading players faces, they knew how important the game was. Don't get me wrong I like AM and think he will be a good manager for Blues as long as the board don't p him off. But the squad is young and I don't see any harm in some firm guidance and a little bit of fear. For a Manager that came from the AF stable I am slightly surprised by this approach is anyone else???

They should of been grounded and sent to bed without any dinner after the Reading game especially Jaidi,

Of course they know the predicament. Jaidi especially. He is playing for a contract extension...no-one else in the Prem is going to sign him if we go down.

I disgaree.

Look at the teams coming up, Albion aside, we could see...

Stoke
Bristol City
Plymouth
Hull
Watford..

These teams are the equivalant of Derby.

Jaidi is exactly the sort of player they'd look at.

:silence:

They obviously know as little about footie as you do man.

BOT:

What purpose does balling and screaming, kicking boots and throwing teacups do ?

Give me the proof that hardnose tactics produce results and I may listen man.

You deal with what you have in the dressing room - if you want to threaten and bluster with a phalanx of 6 foot six assistants, as Barry Fry did, well done.If you want reason and support like Francis did - well done.
Neither approach is gauranteed because it depends on the make up of the characters in your dressing room.

The background to your proposal seems to be one of an easy going, naive manager. "As much as you like him". One who needs a bit of steel like?

Look at his past. Mentored by Ferguson. Captained by Ferguson (Like Robson and Keane). Raised in the Gorbals.

Get real turunc and catch up. :LMAO:

Get Macleish to get a it of horseplay back in the team. If they miss a shot they get smacked in the jaw. In fact have you seen those shock collars for dogs? Put them on the players during the game, give them a zap rating every 5 minutes.

level 1 - youve been a good boy (little zap)
level 2 - please dont tell me you cant do better
level 3 - you waste of space!
level 4 - Your so bad i feel hate for you
level 5 - Heskey (lethal zap)

Or get snipers on the roof for each player on the pitch. Man we could win the league!!

IT MAKES SENSE!

Catch up with what, i'm not the one with an overweight 50/60's pub singer as my avatar.

Sometimes players need a gee up, to be told how it is. Still lets all be lovey and get relegated holding hands and singing New Seekers records together.

Happier now?

David Moyes is a calm manager - is he wrong?
Wenger is a calm manager - is he wrong
MON at the Villa is a calm manager - is he wrong?
Capello is a calm manager - is he wrong?
Benitez is a calm manager - is he wrong?

OK Sir Alex Ferguson is a calm manager - is he wrong? Yes if throwing a boot and splitting Beckhams eye is calm? Ever heard of the hairdryer treatment, where did that originate me wonders??????

David Moyes is a calm manager - is he wrong? When the Rooney scenario was going on news reported many Everton bust ups involving Moyes, with players he is a strict disciplinarian. Red Hair, Scottish and calm do not go in the same sentence?

Wenger is a calm manager - is he wrong? Yes Mr Calm who lost his rag with Pardew because he had the audacity to celebrate beating Arsenal, nobody knows what goes on in his dressing room?

MON at the Villa is a calm manager - is he wrong? Trust me MON is not calm when things aren't going right!!!

Capello is a calm manager - is he wrong? Yes how many games has he been England Manager for and what was it Pearce and Terry said he frightens the players! Known disciplinarian!!

Benitez is a calm manager - is he wrong? He most likely is the calmest of the lot of them.

Now lets look at the choices you made: AF, top of Premiership in CL QF etc. David Moyes 5th in Premiership just had good run in UEFA Cup competition. Wenger, 2nd in Prem, CL QF etc. Martin Oneill still in with a shout of Europe vast improvement on last season. Capello only just been made manager of England no current pressure. Benitez 4th in Prem, CL QF etc.

Now ask yourself Arun first of all wtf** have any of the managers you mentioned got to be angry about and yet each and everyone of them are known for being far from CALM....sorry Arun but players, employees sometimes need a gee up.........Alex Ferguson calm, love it!! :LMAO:
