am i rite in thinking that Muamba was called up for the U21's?

just that he doesn't seem to be in the squad, unless i'm blind!

He was left out of the squad - prompting speculation of a full England call up (which didn't happen either). I understand Pearce wanted to try a few new faces and Muamba was one who made way for them.

It will just be an experimental team for the friendly tonight, most of the first choice players have been left out to give some of the others a run out, Jerome is playing though which is why I'm watching.

I dont rate muamba as much as others on here, he has fighting spirit, but his individual attributes leave a lot to be desired. He cant shoot, and his touch is awful.

Last time I saw him play for the u21's, he was the worst player in red and white so that could be the reason why.

Jerome's been subbed after 65 mins. Not very effective.

Yes he did look poor tonight ,never seemed to want to get in the game, never closed players down and always seemed second best to most balls :(

Jerome came off after 65 minutes, not a lot to report really, personally thought he should be standing out against this standard of opposition, their back four were rubbish and Cameron did very little to make it count, their were fleeting moments of link play from him, but his runs were poor and he did very little in the air, I backed Cameron to be a very good player for us (and hopefully he will be) but he needs to improve quickly.

in his defence, i'd say that the supply wasn't the greatest and he looked like a player that hasn't really played much 1st team football recently

Have to agree. Don't know what it is, but it's always looked like he couldn't give a **** when wearing an England jersey.

just got back from game, Jerome was poor, looked lazy and not interested, had few good chances first half but never looked confident.

Try the Times Website, or other such newspaper websites and they will all have match reports **thumbup Or the F.A. website will probably have a report as well

judging by the comments in here, this is exactly what I thought when he came on for 20 mins last weekend - uninterested, unwilling to try...

I'm sorry regardless of the 'supply' from his team mates he should be chomping at the bit to get himself included on Saturday and making space, balls and chances for himself...

We need nothing less than 100% commitment from the squad of 16 against Man City and I fear if Jerome puts in anything less than that he'll get slaughtered.
