http://www.blues.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1276330,00.html This would answer all those who think AM will not stay if we go down. Also i think this is very positive that he already knows who he wants, and if they are as successful as murphy and Mcfadden have been then i think we will be in for a real treat! :D |

Add Zarate to that list too. Zarate, Forssell and McSheffrey have been causing Man Citys defence all kinds of trouble this afternoon! |

Didn't think he played that well tbh. Steady, but did not get past anyone and got a bit lucky getting the pen. But was involved and closed down well which was important. |

I think after today Muamba should be taken out of the starting 11 and maybe Nafti played instead or even play Kapo in the middle, backing up the front 2. I thought Muamba played awful today. |

I dunno, Muamba and Johnson really stopped Man City's midfield from getting a hold of the game in the first half. It was just poor passing from Muamba on a number of times that let him down, other than that, he was fine. I also thought McSheffrey was very good. Put a hell of a lot of effort in and was unlucky when his shot in the first half went flying over the bar. Should've been a little bit more composed and perhaps taken a touch before shooting, but can't vilify him for missing one opportunity... He got an assist, his passing was fine, he sparked a number of counter attacks along with Zarate, Forssell and Larsson, and he was great defensively. I couldn't fault him in his performance at all. Also, I think Quedrue and Jaidi deserve a lot of praise. Granted, the only Man City player who was getting into our box was Benjani, but they played great. Brilliant overhead kick from Quedrue! And an even better through ball for Zarate's first goal. Looks a hell of a lot more comfortable at centre back. |

I agree with your post apart from the Muamba having a fine game bit. I do rate Muamba and I think in few years time he will be an excellent platyer, but right now when we are fighting for survival do we really need a player that gives away the ball with nearly every pass. It was his awful pass that led to the sending off of Quedrue. He totally exposed his CB's with a ridiculous half hearted attempt at god knows what! We need someone in the middle who will win the ball then retain possesion not give it straight back. Muamba is a very poor passer and not just in today's game. Nafti and Johnson are a much more solid pairing who will keep possesion not give it away! |

It just goes to show that football is a game of opinions but it also goes to show that some opinions are pure rubbish |

zarate, murphy & mcfadden IMO are all among our best players & all brought in by AM, so i have every bit of faith in he's signings |

Kapo in the middle??? not sure to be honest he wiuldnt track back, he wouldnt pick up his man. he is to lazy to play in the middle. but a class act tho so id keep him on the left or up front if zarate and mcfadden arnt fit. |

Maybe Kapo could replace McSheffrey on the left, but as they say you shouln't change a winning team. |

I notice that of Boltons last 6 games,4 are away..they have only won once and drawn 3 x's so far, satisticly they should only pick up 1 more point on the road.....Villa away? and 1 x win and 1 x draw at home.   |
