he was double marker for the majority of the game, give the guy a break.

i think it's quite ironic that he alledgily made comments to a none uk source. sounds like more agent BS and troublemaking.

he can go for the right price

7 million is a fair price imo

same goes for mcfadden, the bloke did not look like he wanted to play today, more interested in show boating and and being selfish - i would accept 7 million for him also

bottom line is that 2 players who think they are too good for this league and dont give 100% and not any better than a committed good player

i noticed mcfadden getting a b*****king off carlsey on several occasions for being selfish

i would sell both for 15 million

Wow. Just wow. Nothing like a knee-jerk reaction is there?

Sure it wasn't his best game in a blue shirt, but he was being doubled up on throughout and sometimes it just doesn't happen for a player. Some of the comments here are just unbelievable.

Good post :applause:

Wasnt Larssons best game, and yes I posted earlier in this thread about us basically helping him become the player he is now but theres no way I would turn on the bloke based on a "quote" in a foreign paper/whatever it is.

I feel sorry for the bloke if he was to log on here and have a read of whats being said, and has all you saying how he doesnt want to be there because he played so poorly today...its already been mentioned on here how he was doubled up on by both Naysmith and Quinn today because they knew how dangerous he could be if not marked properly.
The criticism's really going to make him want to stay here isnt it!

Until we hear otherwise, he's a Birmingham player, dont turn on him.

There are quotes in the article so I wouldn't say that it is all paper talk. If he has said these things then we seriously need to think about his position at the club.

Personally, I'd sell him and bring someone in who wants to play for us. Pity Kightley at Wolves has signed a new contract otherwise he'd be a perfect replacement.

Bad game by his standards, but I wouldn't trust that newspaper for one second. Spanish newspapers are the same, they fabricate stories about their best players to try and get them to move to clubs seen as more important.

We still need him, I was positively shocked when he missed that free-kick!

:applause: If he thinks he can get away with playing like today then I think he will feel A Mc's wrath and no one will want to buy him :applause:

i think he wont be missed too much QOA can play either wing and the way he played today he seemed to be pulling out of challenges & not really working, anything over 5 million would be a good deal tbh.

Sell him if he doesn't want to stay. Sure, our squad is immense with him in it but if he doesn't want to be here.

What makes you say he doesn't want to be here? He was double marked out of the game today. We need a player of his quality.

I would also question just how in context these comments are.

He says the following.....

I want to play at the highest level. (This could be a response to a loaded question)
I hope it will be reolved, there are 3x weeks of the window left. ( You could take this 2x ways, one, he wants to go, 2, hes tired of the specualtion?)
I have got a new contract proposal from Birmingham, but I am not interested in that. (Nowt wrong with that)
"I have got two years left on my current deal. I am not the kind of player who creates a lot of trouble (Nowt wrong with that)

But somewhere there has to be some respect between the club and the player. Of course it would be better if I played in the Premier League ( Yes of course it would be)

* So where does it say he wants to leave us in this window? For me its a bit of speculation, sky have got there teeth into. Theres not much in it IMO?

Larsson told Swedeish sports paper Sportbladet: "I want to play at the highest level,

"I hope it will be resolved. There are three weeks left of the transfer window.

"I have got a new contract proposal from Birmingham, but I am not interested in that.

"I have got two years left on my current deal. I am not the kind of player who creates a lot of trouble.

Well if this is true, then he must ask for a transfer.
Why should we put him up for transfer just so he can get more money.
If he wants to go, he can put in a request like he should have done from the start.

Keep him.

At the end of the day, he said it would be good for Owusu-Abeyie to come here so he rates the club.

Ignore any transfer request or any move from his or his agent to engineer a move out.

Don't fall for it.

These are exactly the same quotes which larssons agent said the other week, but the tense has been changed into that Seb said them rather than his agent.

Made me laugh that he said he ISN'T one to cause trouble but asks to be let go on the day of our opening fixture at home...... :LMAO:

Seb is undoubtedly the best player we have but if he isn't prepared to give 100 per cent and simply sulk then best let him go......We just cannot afford to carry any passengers in this kind of competitive league

There is a catch though.......Sell him for 7 million MINIMUM

I wonder what DG had to say ??

Of course we don't know what he actually did say.
We could of course just keep him on £4k per week. If he has a really bad season, no one will want to buy him anyway.

Let's hope that once the transfer window closes, and he is still here, he can get his head straight.

After all if someone wanted to poach me from my job, and offered me 4x my salary, do you think I would stay where I am?
We are blue tinted rember. He does not really owe us that much.

Im also sick of people moaning to, can you blame them wanting to leave with a majority of fans moaning about them and saying they would sell them for the so cold "right price"!!

Lets face facts, id sell the whole team for the "Right price", and id chuck in their grandparents as a good will gesture!!!
