Nobody gives a t&&& that Larsson had a bad game today. What's disgusting is that he picked the opening day of the campaign to tell the press that 'there are three weeks of the window left and I hope to leave' and that 'the club has to respect the wishes of the player'.

Gee thanks Seb - what a way to back your team mates and fans at the start of the campaign. We really should make him play with the kids until his attitude improves. If ro one am sick of these millionaires who sho nothing but contempt for the people who gavve them everything they have.

I say it again - let him rot if he won't play.

He had a right face on him throughout the match, to me that shows that he doesnt want to be here any more....

To be fair he was having a bad game, your not going to be all smiles when you know your having a bad game.

I think everyones comments on here are absolutely shocking, these are probably the same people (i cant be bothered to look through old posts) that for the past month have been catagorically stating he should not leave at any price, and that he's the most important player in our entire squad.

The amount of "Larsson Must Stay" threads has been ridiculous, just ask the mods how many times they've had to merge it. And hes had one off game, coupled with a completely fabricated article in which the quotes say nothing, and suddenly hes the villan that must be sold.

Seriously people get a grip, if Seb Larsson is at this club on the 1st of Spetember i will be a very VERY happy man.

Look even if there is some truth in his performance, not wanting to pick up an injury which would cost him his move. As soon as the transfer window closes Seb will know where hes going to be playing his football and he will be back to his old self, he's not going to damage his own career by playing badly because we didnt let him leave, he'll be putting his all in to try and generate a transfer in january.

Personally i believe the lack of league football has caused people to build up Seb in their minds to a god like level, utterly incapable of having a bad game.

I think everyone should chill out, we won **thumbup

I think you should take a look at what Seb has actually been quoted as saying in that article. Theres nothing of substance

Quote: comedy Dave
I want to play at the highest level. (This could be a response to a loaded question)
I hope it will be reolved, there are 3x weeks of the window left. ( You could take this 2x ways, one, he wants to go, 2, hes tired of the specualtion?)
I have got a new contract proposal from Birmingham, but I am not interested in that. (Nowt wrong with that)
"I have got two years left on my current deal. I am not the kind of player who creates a lot of trouble (Nowt wrong with that)

But somewhere there has to be some respect between the club and the player. Of course it would be better if I played in the Premier League ( Yes of course it would be)

FFS listen to all you lot saying take the money for Larsson :banghead:
This will be music to D.S's ears, make him stay and show a bit of loyalty for crying out loud. The way you lot are carrying on you would think that any money made on him will be spent on a replacement(s) get a f**kin grip of yourselves.

Sully & Co must be rubbing thier hands together looking at these posts. :banghead:

So, who'll be the first person of those in this thread screaming SELL HIM!!! to be calling for Sullivan's head if he actually does sell him?

It amazes me that so many of you have read something in a newspaper and decided that it must be the gospel truth.

Well,Sky Sports are showing the story and they are usually close to the money most of the time

Funny though a supporter said this week on here that he spoke to Seb at Wast Hills and Seb said he was happy

You cannot believe anything really until the OFFICIAL story breaks out in the open

C'est la vie

Sky Sports have been telling us all summer that Ronaldo is off to Madrid. They have no interest in fact, they merely wish to promote gossip and speculation.

Yes but in all fairness so has just about every other newspaper and sports channel on the planet

I wonder which one will be the FIRST to announce Barry's signing for Liverpool :banghead: :banghead: Here's my 10 P ....I'll say the Birmingham Post will announce it

If all of this speculation on alleged comments by Larsson is actually true, he should consider a couple of things. If the club are adamant he won't be sold "in the next 12 months" (as they said), then no amount of posturing in the Press by either him or his agent will change that fact. So, he wants to play in the Prem, fair enough, but sulking won't get you that, so bite the bullet, accept the fact that you're here for probably another year at most. If we get promoted then wish granted, he'll be back where he wants to be. If we fail to go up it's a certainty he'll be on his way next summer.

12 months Seb, you're not exactly an old man, it's no time at all. This time next year you'll be back in the Prem one way or another. Get your head down, give 100% and get on with it.

I don't want Seb to go, but he did seem to me to have a poor attitude yesterday, admitted he did have 2 players on him so couldn't get much of a sniff, but still.
I don't want him sold, because how often have we said ok sell this or that player and take the money, but HOW often has that money been spent on a good relacement player?, answeres on the back of a stamp please!

Larsson wants out, he wouldn't have done this interview if he was happy. Very disappointed with his attitude. Hold him to his contract and if he gets the hump, tough. The board said they won't sell him, let's see if they will keep their word.

Since when did Larrsson say he did not want to play for us,it's his agent doing all the talking at present. Maybe he needs to shift a player cause he needs some extra money. Larrsson was not the only player below par yesterday and untill he goes public lets wait and see.
On the negative side, his free kick was rubbish today,no effort at all.

Well lets see if Paul Ince has enough to buy him off us if thats who hes after.

Theres no point selling him on the cheap with the sell on clause Arsenal have.

Its a shame Chris Eagles has already left Manchester United for Burnley as he would have been a perfect replacement for £1.5m

Wow. Just wow. Nothing like a knee-jerk reaction is there?

Sure it wasn't his best game in a blue shirt, but he was being doubled up on throughout and sometimes it just doesn't happen for a player. Some of the comments here are just unbelievable.

Anyone that actually plays the game will know when your having a bad game your frustrated and you wouldnt just smile so the fans can think your happy. all he did was have a bad game and when that happens your in a bad mood. even if he did say that who cares? he is a birmingham city player and no one has bid for him either so there is nothing to talk about. please dont think cuz he was not smiling on the pitch or shaking his replacements hand properly he does not want to play. if anything he is showing that he is dissapointed in his own performance and i honestly think very few players would not want to play for someone again. agreed the patience would can decrease like if we lost the first 5 games him and mcfadden would be a little cheesed off but wouldnt we??

Lot of truth there I think.

He had a bad game on Saturday.
He's agitating for a move.

Two separate things.
He has bad games sometimes, I don't think for a minute he played deliberately badly - it wouldn't be in his interests.
Although he did blatantly jump out of two tackles and that worried me a bit.

I did notice that too but think we could be reading too much into. i cant think off the top of my head if was the sort of player not too pull out of them anyway

Id sell for 5.5 million with 50,000 for each appearance made whether starting or off the bench. if they buyers put him in the reserves, he'll have a whale of a time :D
