34,019?

Did the stadium get expanded in the summer? Fair play to the board - they kept that quiet.

yeh was impressed that we got just over 24,000, although seemed quiet on TV - but there wasnt much to get excited about! But well done to everyone that made the effort to go down and support :applause:

It's plainly obvious our support will dwindle a little having dropped out of the Big Time temporarily but 24,019 is actually a pretty good turn out for a game played at 1245p and was broadcast live on Sky

Sheffield Wedenesday have a 40,000 capacity and still couldn't pull in more than us

Last season's FA Cup Finalists Cardiff City couldn't even get 20,000

The sudden 'talk' of West London........after Robhino of course ......QPR pulled in a whopping 14,000 :LMAO:

And other ex PL clubs Coventry City,Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace ALL had lower gates than Blues on day One

Only Derby County had more than us .......and considering they have sold 22,000 ST's that's no real shock to anyone is it ??

Credit for ALL Blues fans for showing up in numbers today :applause: :applause:

There were qute a few littles empty seat patches around the ground to be honest:

-Bottom of the Railway to the right.
-Little bit both sides of Olympic.
-Away allocation not all sold out.
-The black sheet seperating the two sets of fans takes up seats.
-Little bit of the Kop corner towards the bottom and end of the tilton by the mainstand had a few patches of empty seats.

(Above is not a moan, just pointing it out **thumbup )

Sometimes i think it's a bit of a tax scam because i remember when we played Fulham in the cup a few years ago it was rammed, people got turned away last minute and i ended up standing in the mainstand with my mom amongst many others as they announced 26,371.

**thumbup well done.

Appolgies from myself who ridiculed the forecast and labelled you mad as your name. :D

I was totally surprised when I saw the crowd inside St Andrews twenty or so minutes before KO.

Well done everybody who turned up.

And after the standard of the game and the prices increased for the next game against Barnsley we will be lucky to get 16,000.

I said we'd be lucky to get 16k, but maybe it's just because everyone is so miserable on this board and it just seems like everyone has lost the 'love' :(
