Any idea who is in the Legends side? I have 200 miles between me and Meriden Drive (where I grew up in the 70s at number 199 opposite the Punch Bowl) so I'd need it to be some half decent names to make the trip up for nostalgia's sake

Sorry mate i have no idea as yet, i'll try and find out though. Tom Ross is the Legends 'manager' as far as i'm aware may be an idea to mail him and ask if he knows...

I also grew up on Meriden, No.221, also opposite the punch. When i left home i didnt fly far from the nest as i still live on Meriden Drive now, and can be found in the Punch/ Pavilions, most nights ;) :lager:

Yeah we were on the 'Island' , though i'm only a young *ahem* ,29, we were only there from the early 80's onwards. Best Road Ever - FACT.

I've emailed Tom by the way, so watch this space... **thumbup

Gary Shaw grew up at number 209 the first house on the island next to the dirt track leading to your garages, we used to play footie on the island using the trees outside Lester's house as a goal (he was there at no 217 from the early 70s through to at least 89).

Yeah i've met Shawrey a few times, he comes to functions every now and then to help raise money etc. You must've been the same age range as the likes of Hugo, Yatesy, Walshy, Cozy etc i would imagine.
