Got slated last season, he never really got a chance in my opinion but i hear he has lost a stone and has been working hard in pre season and scoring a few goals he looked a lot more agile when he come on and was chasing back he really impressed me the sort of attitude we need at the club ... well done

on the other hand larrsons attitude really dissapointed me

Maybe Larsson played deliberately poor, because he loves the Blues and wants to stay. If he played well, he may have impressed any number of managers who may be after him who were watching on Sky or at St.A's..

It was a very good header from O'Connor which flicked the ball on to Phillips to score.

We have been missing someone to win those headers then someone to put them in for a long time. When we had Heskey winning the headers there was nobody behind him. When we had Forssell to put the ball in the net we had nobody winning those headers.

Came together well yesterday.

I personally think o,conner will score some very important goals for us this season. h's a good player if he gets his head right. he was good as a kid and was a top player for hib's he needs a chance, his pace may be a put of though. A six yard box scorer is fine by me though, i think 15 goals this season in all competitions. KRO!!

I'd like to see O'Connor & Phillips start with Mc Fadden playing behind them.

a lot of players who never got much first team football and stick off the fans would of just been happy sittin on the bench gettin his wage at the end of the week or move from club to club not saying thats right its just what happens. but he seems to have worked his socks off pre season slimmed down, scored goals and impressed the manager
fair play to him

i would love this if it was true and that is what i and every blues fan would hope for but it isnt, :crying: he just had a bad game with 2 men marking him. although he does love the blues there is no doubt about that.

O'Connor's hair looks like a mullet and I really couldn't think of anything worse to say than that.

As for the football side of it, he's only here to make up the numbers and it's only a matter of time before he ends up at Motherwell or somewhere.

That'll do for me.

At some point though, i'd still like to see Jerome having a run.

O'connor's header was well won, his strength in holding off the defender in the first place was top stuff, and it was something that Bent didn't do particurlarly well.

Totally the opposite.

Larsson has probably been promised a wedge from Sully to play below par so that the fans won't be disappointed when he sells him later this month.

PS it's beginning to work from what I,ve read and heard from fans.

I certainly think O'Conner should be given a chance, at least this season he has had a break and a pre season as last year he played straight through from the start of the Russian season to the end of ours. I think think he could do well at this level
