According to the match report on the web site it was a groin injury.

And McLeish said afterwards that it was a tough decision to leave him out. If he was injured there wouldnt be a choice to make. Parnaby played ahead of Kelly in pre-season then starts the first game proper and we are supposed to believe that this wasnt a tactical choice?

Kelly is on the way out. No loss anyway. I prefer Parnaby.

The guy was an ever present in the PL last season, not good enough for a right back berth in the Chumpionship ????????????????

You are kidding me,he was one of our best players last season.

No where near best player, he is awful going forward. People rave about his defending, only because his positioning was awful in the first place, did he have to make them last ditch tackles. Keep him as backup, Parnaby is much better player going forward and can do an equally good job at the back.
