Sheffield United was always going to be a tough game and we took the 3 points albeit leaving it late TBH I think the fixture computer has been kind to us.........Southampton and Norwich away and Barnsley and Doncaster at home are our next 4 League games..........Really feel we can take maximum points from these and maybe try and go for a good lead at the top as we get closer to Christmas Next hard test I fell wil be Bristol City away on September 16th (doesn't Dele Adebola sill play for them ??) but the real test of the whole season will be the end of September and the first part of October We face Cardiff and Derby away in the space of 4 days and then have a home game v QPR on October 4th and just over 2 weeks later we face Crystal Palace at home....just after that we face QPR again (unusual having the same opponents in the same month) and then comes our first West Midland derby where we entertain Coventry and the return of Clinton Looking forward to those already :applause: |

I never see the away trips to Southampton and Norwich as particularly easy games. Norwich overall seem to be our bogey side, apart from the play-off victory against them, and a cup win in our 1st relegation season, I cant remember having too much success against them in recent times. Southampton seem to bring there best against us at their place aswell. Barnsley and Doncaster at home IMO should be games we're looking to take maximum points from, but football has a way of always kicking you in the teeth...ask Derby fans after their apparent "home banker" against Doncaster on Saturday. |

Can only see struggles for both Saints and The Canaries this season......Norwich went out of the League Cup to MK Dons last night ....The problem for both these clubs are finances which must of course go out as a warning to ourselves Once that PL parachute money goes after 2 years ...it tends to be downhill We'll probably have a reasonable progress guideline just before Christmas (Reading home Dec 20th) though........then we will have played all the other 23 clubs in this League ------------------------- |

I think Norwich Away is the toughest test out of those 4... they were one of the form teams at the end of last season and I'd expect them to be in with a shout of the play offs this season. I'd be happy to be on 13 pionts after 5 games. so that's 3 wins and a draw out of 4 games above. |

Norwich were defensively awful last season, sitting at the bottom of the table - until one Tiny Taylor joined them on loan. They then rose to a comfortable mid-table with him in the side. Easy to see why they wanted to buy him. I dont view them as being contenders this season. To win this league comfortably we should really be viewing this as a very winnable game. |

Two matches in a month against the Champions Elect so early in the season. That'll sort out the men from the boys. |

I would not under estimate Doncaster after beating Derby first game of the season they are now full of confidence and will come to St Andrews as underdogs and will have nothing to lose. |
