Young, strong, athletic and with skills he's never really been able to show off at Spurs. He'd be a quality addition to the squad.

If we could get him on loan, I'd forgive the board for their lack of spending.

would be a super signing.
He is too good for the Blues so if you manage to capture him on a season long loan it would be amazing!
Need a player like him in the center, someone who can drive forward with skills. We have enough defensive central midfielders.

I have never heard of him before. Obviously all of you, not only have heard of him, but have seen him play and are impressed. Was he a regular for Spurs? or have you seen him playing somewhere else? feed.back

I believe it's a loan with a view to a permanent transfer depending on promotion to Prem...........or so the rumour I've heard, believe it when it happens though.

Just passing on the gossip.

It seems everyone (Teamtalk, Skysports.com, SSN etc) have got a bit carried away with Sullivan's comments in the Birmingham Mail saying "maybe" to the question of whether it's still on.

Would be a great signing IMO, but I'm not too hopeful

As I posted somewhere else, I think all the media have got a bit carried away here.

Sullivan said in the Birmingham Mail "maybe" when asked if we'd return for KPB and Teamtalk, The Sun, Skysports.com, SkySports News, BBC Sport Gossip etc have made a story out of it.

Would be a great signing if it happens, fingers crossed.

He desribes himself as having "skill and pace complemented by advanced tactical awareness and a powerful physique" and with experience at only 21, sounds like exactly what we need

I think they brought him for nearly £6m in January, he got 4 sub appearances and then they haven’t even given him a squad number this season… so no… he was not a regular at Spurs!

Tbh, I don’t know much about him, he must be a decent player though for him to of been valued at £6m (ish) in the 1st place?

He was young player of the year in Germany for Hertha Berlin and put in a number of very good performances for the German under 21s. His dismal showing at Spurs is largely for the same sort of reason that De Ridder didn't get much of a look in with us, he was bought by Jol, then Jol left, and Ramos preferred another partnership in the middle.

He's got the raw materials to be a top Premiership player, he just needs the opportunity to get acclimatised to the English game.

He was more of a regular than that... he's been there about a year and a half. He was definitely there when Jol was there anyway. He made a few appearances for them at first but didn't really impress as he was played out of position.

I've said this already on about 3 different threads on KPB

My mate who is a Spurs fan reckons he's not that good. Says he was played mainly on the wings when actually he would probably be better in centre midfield as a strong defensive kind of player. I don't think his passing, crossing or shooting is up to scratch in order for him to be an attacking midfielder. He says he's on par with Ghaly in terms of ability...

Personally, I think he'd be a good addition to Blues. A young, strong, highly rated midfielder (in Germany at least where he was voted young player of the year 2006) to play alongside Carsley would be ideal. Maybe we already have that with Agustien? I don't know.

Shouldn't rely on Wikipedia for appearance records. They're hardly ever right.

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/players/reserves/kevinprinceboateng.html

German Under-21 international midfielder was snapped up from Hertha Berlin in July, 2007.

He made 21 appearances in all competitions for us in 2007-08, including 10 starts. He also played five times for our reserves, scoring once.

Kevin progressed through the ranks at Hertha and played 18 times, scoring three goals, for the reserves in the Regionalla Nord aged just 17 in 2004-05.

He was soon in the first team and capped his first season in Germany's top flight by winning the prestigious Fritz Walter Gold Medal Award as the Young Player of the Season.

Berlin-born Kevin played 42 times in the Bundesliga, scoring four goals and added to his experience with six appearances in the UEFA Cup, scoring once.

21 appearances. I was sure it was more than 13.
