What was the chant that lasted for a while in the tilton, continuous clapping and singing, sounds like the foriegn chants. These chants seem more effective and sound real good.

It did sound good, first heard it at Southampton in the cup, Sounds like a tribal chant could be good if everyone was doing it.

It sounded like "One In Ten" by UB40 which was a pretty smart and innovative response to what was happening on the pitch.... **thumbup

I'm a old fuddy duddy and don't know about who sings what I just think it was good, and nice that something 'new' came from the Tilton, it's been many a year since I heard something new and I thought it was good, I hope it catches on.

Absolutely - in this game Damien Johnson was sent off....
Yesterday it was Nafti....
That's why I am convinced it was UB40's "One In Ten" even though "Food For Thought" is a similar rhythm....
Why would we chant "Food For Thought"?
"I Am The One In Ten" makes sense....
Maybe one of the originators could let us know.... feed.back

its got nothing to do with anyone getting sent off. If you sit at the top of the tilton then you'd know that the lads up there chant it atleast once a game. I don't know why they started it but the only reason i can think is obviously UB40 are a brummie group but as for why that particular song, i have no idea.

I was chatting with my mate that sits in front of me and she said there are words to the song that the lads at the back of the tilton have made up but I only know one line and it goes "salad on the side". I had a feeling it would be something 2 do with food not just because of the song but because their songs are usually about food

off topic but i sat in the tilton for the first time in my 25 years of life yesterday and loved it.

I have sat/stood in the kop, sat in the railway upper and lower, main stand upper and lower but yesterday, even in a half full stadium with a bit of a rubbish game, there was a decent enough atmosphere in the tilton, Im gonna carry on swapping seats this season to find my perfect seat for my season ticket next year but think it wil be in the tilton

from the times i've heard it. All they do is chant the riff and then shout 'blues, blues, blues....' at the end. So no actually words really

I was at Wigan last season and heard it, then it carried on at villa, fulham etc.

Been to every game including southampton/ wycome cup and have heard it every time, at wycombe the quincy song was made by the same group of lads.
