The same reason they'd be talking about in Bridlington Bay, Cardigan Bay, Babbacombe Bay or Botany Bay

I won't have a go at McSheffrey. I have seen what he is a capable of, it's just that he has a chronic lack of confidence at the moment - perhaps he needs a good sports psychologist. At least he is willing to play and gives 100% even though he is going through a nightmare period.

Blimey, there's McSheffrey needing a sports psychologist and now Parti in need of a clinical psychiatrist.

You are unbelievable sometimes
I suppose you have come to that conclusion after 2 watching him in 2 starts and 4 sub appearances.
I believe we look more dangerous with him on the pitch. I think his work rate has been un questionable, his ability to flick on and hold the ball up is better than any of the other forwards, his off the ball running is good and his general game is solid.

How you come to your conclusions are beyond me.

But hey your option is I am sure in a minority so you carry on slaging blues players if that’s what makes you happy

Hey, if Lowdhams moaning for a year about Bent has the same affect it had on O'Connor, let him moan away.

Each to their own. It took me just 30 mins into the Sheff Utd game to see this, again it was apparent when he came on in the second half at Soton and again against Barnsley.

His piece de resistance was when he came on for the second half against Doncaster. We were down to ten men and it was backs to tjhe wall job. We had a goalkeeper playing a blinder, we had eight outfield players running themselves into the ground and we had Bent, who on a number of occasions just lazily walked back to the half way line after an attack break-up.

You'll notice as time goes on what a lazy, lazy git he is.

O'Connor sorted himself out, Bent's just naturally lazy, happy just to turn up and collect his salary in the latter days of his career.

I cant believe people call Bent lazy!
He runs his b******s off when he comes on, and we look far more threatening with him up front.
He has the ability to hold up the ball, win it in the air, win it on the deck, and run with it.

How people can write him off already and criticise him for being lazy is beyond me.

I agree with you Fors. He does as much work as any other forward and more than some

You want to hear what the wigwam fans say about him! It seems he's always been a lazy so and so at other clubs aswell.

Although, TBH, he's really made an effort over the last few games. He must like us **thumbup

amazing how O'Neill started his career, Houlier signed him for Liverpool, Ericsson picked him for England and now Capello has brought him back for England.

Four top managers who all rated Emile Heskey. I think they're right and some of you on here are...well I dont know, just keep on worshiping Bent you muppets. :banghead:

Im not saying I dont rate him. Im saying he never put the effort in for us that he has done elsewhere.

Yes it was a shock he won Player of the Year here to be honest, think back, he never done alot really, and wasted alot of chances.

People criticise Bent for being lazy, not running etc yet Heskey done nothing of the sort either.

Strange thats all.

you won't have a go at McSheff as you have seen what he's capable of. surely that's a wind up. he's had 18 months to put his form right. how long can you give a player. gronkyearr was given 2-3 games yet he was awesome in the euros 4 weeks before the season started. bent was wigwhams top scorer last season he's been written off by some after 1 game.

wake up lowdham he's shot. i would love him to find his form but not playing the next 25 games for blues trying to do it. loan him out to find his form so blues do not carry a passenger while he does it. when was the last time McSheff got the better of a rightback over 90 mins, Newcastle in the FA Cup Jan 07 in my opinion.
