It's probably a case of who you to speak to. If it's just one of the ticket office staff who has only been told the bubble rules then you'll get nowhere. You need to speak to someone who knows what can be done and has the authority to make the decision - I suggest the ticket office manager. |

600 mile round trip when I live 150 miles from Cardiff? They can stick their "bubble fixture" up their backsides. I can beat the above. I live 11 miles from Cardiff as the crow flies and would mean 450 miles travelled to attend the game. No thanks; first away match missed this season. :banghead: |

Do you think there could be a chance of getting the coach up and then going to the station afterwards would be so much easier |

A friend of mine phoned the ticket office today (following bluenose69's [my cousin] success in getting tickets outside of the bubble). The lady he spoke to said "we have been given a few tickets but the rules we've been given which allow them to be sold is that you must live in Cardiff, or close to Cardiff, South Wales, Dorset or Devon". My friend asked what was to stop him saying he lives in Cardiff, to which the lady said " to get a ticket you need to provide conclusive proof that you live in one of the areas i mentioned" . She then said, once she had the requisite proof, she could either post the ticket or my friend could collect it. Mo x |

I took the wife a couple of years back when we were last in the Champs and after the Blues fans tried to surge from the back terracing on to the pitch (unsuccessfully), the Cardiff fans to our left started throwing coins at us. I got hit on the head and the kids in the seats in front of us were terrified. If you are going, keep away from the seats in the corner furthest away from the goal. Have a good day... I'll wait til their new ground is open!! Codnorbluenose |

Just got to say thanks to you guys for informingme that you could get tickets. I sent an email to rachel in ticket office who said yes you could. So ive bought 2 tickets that will be sent by recorded delivery and now ive save an extra 8 hours+ drive and £60 petrol. Im leaving work at 1pm to get to ground early at about 1.30. So im delighted and if it was not for you guys telling me that you could get tickets and dont have to travel via bubble then I would not of known. Kro brummie65 |

Great that you're sorted. **thumbup Just a pity that it took the persistence of my cousin (and maybe many others) for the club and/or the police to realise how stupid the bubble was going to be for a lot of bluenoses. Hasn't left much time for many to make plans though - and some will have already arranged to travel from other parts of the country all the way to Birmingham to get on the official coaches. It's certainly put me and a few friends off going. Mo x |

I rang the ticket office today after reading on here that people living in Cardiff could get tickets in the away end without doing a 400-500 mile round trip. To begin with, the muppet on the phone lied by denying this was possible until I told him I had read it on this messageboard. When I asked for the ticket to be left in the Cardiff matchday collection office I was told this was impossible for security reasons. This is something I have done all over the country. When I pointed out that the alternative, which is me sitting in the home end, is worse for my security, Mr. Jobsworth said he could not help me. Blues have my details on file through season ticket and away ticket sales so I am not a security risk. Once again they have the club's fans by the short and curlies and customer services goes down the drain. |

Got in for FREE! Went down, explained the situation to the head steward and he pushed me into the blues end, said '**** off, Shut up and enjoy the game'!!! Then got a lift back to my flat in a riot van! what a day, capped off by a great game + 3pts for the Blues! :applause: :banner: |

Will we also had a lift back in a riot van. I parked my car about 5mins from the ground and the police would not let us walk to it. Instead we had escort to the school and safely to the car. Their was a young lad whos in uni down in cardiff who also had a lift and they dropped him off somewhere else. However we walked from the car to the ground ok talking to cardiff fans. Kro brummie65 strange is it not coming off the motoroway and getting home within 30mins leaving the blues fans on the coaches. 3pts gainned :banner: |
