I did put this in the who is going to cardiff but but it is a different subject kind of anyway If you phone up the blues and give them your address they WILL send them to you. Im going to cardiff this afternoon to stay at some relatives and they have given me mine as i had an email from south wales police telling me that the blues have the ability to give tickets out to people not in the bubble. just phone them up and you will be fine. have to say pat on the back for the blues and police as i said i was going anyway and would of tried to get in the away end and if they didnt let me in would of sat in the home end and that would of put their keeping away opposing fans plan down the pan. |

It's because all the fans are transported in a "bubble". The SWP dictate (or strongly recommend) that a match ticket is bought but is only presented on a coach on the way down. That way all supporters are travelling by coach in a convoy, which they refer to as a bubble. However it appears there iss some flexibility for those away supporters who live away from the vacinity of the away club. Well done bluenose69 for pursuing this. :applause: |

Cheers i think its because i was a bit insistant that i WAS going to the game and if they would not let me in the away end WOULD sit in the home end, which to be honest would of worried me but then i thought if anything did happen to me im sure some reported would love to know why i got a beating in the cardiff end ;) |

In my experience you stand a chance of ending back up in Brum as they won't let you out of the "Bubble" at the end of the game, It happened to me in Oxford in the 80's, I was working in Oxford went to the game (pay on the gate in those days) after the game we were locked in as a couple of police cars had been tipped over by the blues fans on the way to the ground. We were escorted back to the train station by the police; I tried to explain I lived in Oxford but they weren’t having it and I was put on the train, this train was a soccer special and did not stop till it got to New Street. What a pain, I then had to get a train back to oxford. We did win the match buy the way, 0-1 but were poor and should have lost about 6-0 Wayne Clarke lobbed the keeper from about 25 yds in the last minuet, the oxford fans were going mental and so were the blues fans, I think the police thought it was going to go off after the game. Which it normally did in those days. |

I nearly got put on a train to b'ham from leeds last time we played them when i got a train from a mates in doncaster, i nearly got arrested for refusing to forced onto a train and only went one lady police lady pointed out i came from the other side of a train station was i allowed to leave. think its a bit different with coaches as you have to have tickets if im correct and i wont have one or get on one. as i say im just glad the police and blues allowed me to get a ticket it as i just want to watch my team |
