Has died at 77 .....RIP

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/jan/31/terry-wogan

I got to be honest, I never really liked him that much either as a comedian, a talk show host and especially a pop singer (The Floral Dance was incessantly annoying) .........however no denying his contributions to BBC shows throughout the 70's and 80's and he attracted an audience of roughly 8 million for his Radio Two breakfast shows.....he actually jump started his 'anchor or hosting' career presenting a show out of the old BBC Studios at Pebble Mill in Birmingham and also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest for many years

Fill in your "Blankety Blanks" here, please.......and keep it friendly

Parti, I thought he was a giant of broadcasting and developed a style on the radio that has became almoset the norm, talking to listeners as though they were confidantes of his!
Personally I think he did more for Anglo Irish relations than anyone in history, bearing in mind he came to the fore at the same time that the IRA were bombing main land UK.
He understood & had an affinity with both cultures, RIP SIR TERRY, Irelands greatest Englishman!

I must admit, I liked Wogan and his sense of humour. RIP, Terry.
