Mike Newell

Totally agree along with Savage in recent times and Don Givens for not signing an autograph at a open day when all the bigger kids had got his autograph ahead of me because Iwas little I waited patiently and he refused B'stad.

Maybe he thought you was Alan Buckley

Post is a little on the negative side and I always give every single Blues player I've ever seen a chance to prove themselves but have to agree on Julian Gray and Mike Newell......just seemed heartless and played the game like it was just an everyday chore

Savage was a pinnacle player for us and epitomised the fight and spirit we BlueNoses have worshipped over the decades but Yes, I do not like the way he left us and it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth for months afterwards

The excuses about the travel and the fact he had just signed a 4 year improved deal, then wanted to take off in a hurry was despicable.....If it had been a 'Liverpool' or 'Man United' I could have even understood............but Blackburn Rovers For Gawd's Sake !!!! :banghead:

Total Rubish, --- have you ever meet Larrson? then you don't know.
I would think McFadden is as happy as a sand boy with all his Scottish mates around him.........

I don't really have a least favourite player. There are players I don't rate like O'Connor and Bent, but as another poster says if they do the business evetually then that can change.

Sir Douglas Bader would have been a better footballer than Gray

I've liked all our players apart from the one we signed on loan last season and who we signed permanently this season.

Its gotta be Mike Newell who dident seem interested. Another similar to him but only came on loan was the Arsenal player- Anders Limpar i think- Anyone remember?

I think we get a little confused with a rubbish player and our least favourite:

Least fav:

1) Melchot
2) Butt

Both came for the money and let us down really badly when we went down

3) Heskey

Not far off the top two

But all 3 arn't really rubbish players.

In last seasons team only Mcfadden came close , he has a lot to prove this year or he could be added above!

Leigh Jenkinson, I think that was his name. He was on loan from Cov, possibly during Terry Cooper's time. He clearly pulled out of a tackle during a home game which was going badly for us. I have never seen such an obvious example of this either befoer or after.

Only one I've ever come close to disliking - the legend that was Gary Sprake, firstly 'cause I absolutely hated Leeds (still do) and second cause he was ****.
