Hi! Newbie 2 the forum. (Not even sure I'm posting this in the right place, apologies if not.)

Planning a wee trip to Birm in the near future & was looking for some info really. Have searched the forum and can't see much so decided to post a few questions -

1. I've registered with the online ticket sales but is it fairly easy to get tickets for big games? I am considering the Arsenal game in March. Noticed the Monday before the Man U game that there were still tickets available, would have thought it would have been a sell out?

2. What's easiest way to get to St Andrew's? Looks a bit out of the city on google maps.

That's all for now. Any info appreciated, thanks!

man utd was a sell out. will be hard to get tickets for arsenal, as it will decide betwen the two who gets 4th place.

follow signs for city centre (off the spaghetti junction) bcfc is then sign posted).

say hello to sir alex for me.

Oh no don't say that!! I do not want to end up in Birm without a ticket ggrr! I take it Arsenal game tickets will go on public sale though so if I'm fast I'll get some? Are tickets released on public sale a few weeks before the games?

Thanks for the travel directions. I won't be driving though! Is there buses/tube to St Andrew's?

Lol wrong Mr Ferguson!! :)

Theres a tube stop just outside the ground, but they are extrememly infrequent. It'll be faster walking.

If you buy tickets for the game as soon as they go on General Sale you won't have a problem.

Not a CHANCE! Why are people on forums always suspicious of new people? I'm not a flamin Arsenal fan thanks! Just chose that game because I thought it'd be a good game to go to :banner:

there is not a tube or anything like that, SpokesT is attempting to be humerous (key word attempting)

Unfortunatley it is bus or walk. You can get a train to near the ground but it's still a 5 min ish walk and trains dont run often to the station (a couple only on match day)

you could even get a taxi which would take 5 mins but I have no idea of cost.

For a bit of info on a new football ground I find: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/birmingham_city helpful for new grounds, this is our page on their site
