Theres a tube stop just outside the ground, but they are extrememly infrequent. It'll be faster walking.

Thanks! What's the tube station called? I do not fancy walking 20 mins in heels lol!

there is not a tube or anything like that, SpokesT is attempting to be humerous (key word attempting)

Unfortunatley it is bus or walk. You can get a train to near the ground but it's still a 5 min ish walk and trains dont run often to the station (a couple only on match day)

you could even get a taxi which would take 5 mins but I have no idea of cost.

For a bit of info on a new football ground I find: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/birmingham_city helpful for new grounds, this is our page on their site

Hhmmpphh idiots!! Must think I'm blonde lol!

Thanks for your reply and the link. Taxi/bus it is then! I've plenty of time to check it out I guess.

Looking forward to my 1st visit to Birmingham & St Andrews. Sure it won't compare to Glasgow tho! :o

Yup... Not only paranoid (still worried about what, though) but also pretty slow on the uptake at times. All those years of brainwashing by previous owners...

Welcome Mrs. Barry, as our new ones would say.

Before you guys on here acuse me of being boring or lacking humour, please take into account we have someone new here who is not yet accustomed to the unique sense of humour of some people on here.

Like I say I know you may be joking but to someone new some messages on here could appear to be less than polite and some blatantly rude.

I forgot to mention insecure, too. We have been conditioned to believe we are the only ones that would support the Blues - or want to see them play - after years of beatings and the like by everyone around us. On and off the pitch. Therefore the idea that non-Brummies would suddenly choose us is one that we find confusing - especially as this has happened so quickly...

So, yes. Paranoid, insecure, slow...

And a fair bit of self-deprecation.

Welcome!

Well said! Its not boring/humourless it's called being helfpul. Some people on here have definately come across as being blatantly rude! I know if someone asked me for directions to our stadium I wouldn't send them on a wild goose chase around Glasgow!

Thank you for your info though! No point in asking any other questions though if all I'm going to get is stupid replies!

So it's true what I've heard about Birmingham City fans then? Better not open my mouth when I go to the game then, I mean what hope is there for me being Scottish? I suppose we're only supposed to like Scottish teams? Gosh I'm looking forward to my weekend now...NOT!

Try our website in future Mrs F.
It has all the travel and directions you need. And please don't use bad language in your future posts, which I look forward to, because it upsets those of us with a sensitive nature.

Enjoy the match. **thumbup

I absolutely guarantee it's not like that!

In fact, most of last season you often see people wearing Scottish shirts, hats etc in support of our manager. We are a friendly bunch, contrary to beliefs, and you Will be welcomed.

patrony or rudeness not intended..but we do not have a modern transport network as this city suffers from a distinct lack of funding from Central government and a backward thinking local council.
My apolagies Mrs Ferguson i hope you do enjoy your visit to Birmingham.
