Why? Because it's always Rangers or Celtic winning it? Sometimes it's good to have competion I suppose but nothing beats the feeling of being Champions and especially beating Celtic :)

Precisely. Bore Fest. And then they boast like they are world beaters. Its like winning a swimming race when 2 people are on jet skis and the rest are doing the doggy paddle < <

 good description! bit insulting to other teams who are putting up a good fight though don't you think? ie Dundee Utd Hibs etc. With all due respect if you don't like Scottish footy then don't watch it lol! We did try to join the Premiership but the powers that be in England wouldn't let us!

We've every reason to boast..we are THE people don't u know? :LMAO: Anyway when it comes to boasting us Scots pale into insignificance compared to you lot :P

I was looking at the number of views..... :banghead:

Found the proper thread now.
Was thinking tho' that with Babel now cupt tied, perhaps he might be cheaper.?

Liverpool's goal was an own goal - similar to Dann's one I think, and Reading got a pen in the last minute of the 90.

This is Liverpool without Gerrard and Torres for the second half, and they "sound" dire.

Who did you play in 1873 ?
:D

Blues began playing in 1875, in a league.

Gers were also called the 'light blues' at one time if I remember correctly.(1960s)

if you came in via new street train station you could get a cab it would take 5 mins from the city center, but would be the most direct route, if your were anywhere in the city center cab would probably be best , brums not a big place but you could easily get lost there

Thanks for the info! Taxi sounds to me the easiest option! Hopefully staying in the city centre so should be straightforward enough.

Stay in the Ibis Bordesley Circus .Its 5 mins walk to the ground.

prob be about £3 in a taxi from there , as uphill to the ground , mind you we walked from Wigan to the ground in heels , otherwise there is the F1 Hotel next door but it not as nice as the IBIS X
