Re-reading Lewis's thread he clearly states a disappointment and frustration with some fans who fail to condemn poor behaviour from BCFC fans. He is obviously encouraging and would prefer the majority of fans to speak out condemn this type of behaviour rather than remain silent in order to remove from our club. Those who condemn bad behaviour he has chose to describe as elite. His term not mine. I prefer not speak in his stead but Lewis sees neutralising the "aggressive" elelment at BCFC is just one step in trying to make BCFC a more successful club. He really wants to get as many supporters down St Andrews as possible. I can see your point of view regarding the post. But I think your exaggerating a little bit. Lewis just gets frustrated in that he wants BCFC to be successful but there is constantly stuff which brings the club down e.g. the aggressive element. To give him further credit he does try to get motivation going only to be shot down in flames time and time again. Give the guy a break eh!! |

I'd be really disappointed to see AMc left for Liverpool. I am enjoying this forum also enjoying following Birminhams fortunes, admittedly due to the Scottish, Rangers McLeish connection, nonetheless it's great to follow an underdog for a change hopefully not the underdog given a few more seasons. I do not concur with some of the points raised in this postinng where some BCFC fans are clearly of the opinion that there is no chance of him staying if Liverpool came knocking at BCFC's door requesting his services. I think AMc has found a club he is at ease with and is happy to see progression under his leadership so I think he will wannt to see the job through until he gathers more experience inn the Premier League. This may take a few more seasons to achieve then he may look to bigger things. Mind you bigger things may by then include Birmingham if they continue to progress at the rate they are just now. AMc will probably be well aware of the huge expectations placed upon him if being offered and taking the Liverpool job whereas at BCFC just surviving the drop this season is a very good achievement and something which imo he would want to build upon. I would have to say that I genuinely believe AMc will choose to stay, here's hoping, oh and by the way he is reported to be 4/1 to move on to Lpool. |

The Gold 'n' Sullivan PR bandwagon have gone into overtime these past weeks. Seems atm all they want is to be in somebodys face spouting how the economics of english football could be going down the pan........ Many are saying since they have left Birmingham City the "THE DARK GREY CLOUDS" have seemingly left St Andrews, and that includes some in the media! Hopefully we can all move on and forget the past negative few months from the old boardroom... Good luck to em when they find a club, "and they will find one".....but I pity the club that has em. :bluzz: |
