Based on that,it should be an easy win for Blues! The guy can rarely give us credit, can he?

Portsmouth - Birmingham

"Birmingham, as everyone knows, have been on an unbelievable, club-record run. They are difficult to beat, defensively excellent, but runs like theirs tend to end at places where you don't expect it.
Portsmouth would have been boosted by their FA Cup victory in the week. I just feel that at home against a team who are now a big scalp they will lift themselves and win this one.
Verdict: 2-1"

Doesn't give us any credit? "difficult to beat", "Defensively excellent", "now a big scalp"? Sounds to me he's got this pretty much spot on all bar the result that is.

I believe they may tire very quickly in the second half after their cup game, which they were lucky to win, so I believe the score should be 2-1 Blues.

What he says about runs like ours coming to an end when you least expect them to is also pretty accurate (this is still the Blues remember).

Also notice he's gone for Home victories or draws only and the scores are all 0,1 or 2. It's a way of playing the game without sticking your head out too much.

Last season someone came up with the table if all of his predictions were right. Has anyone done that this season ?. I would guess that his table has us in the relegation zone.

Fair play to whoever compiles that. So we're in a relegation battle while Wolves sit comfortably in mid-table.

He's a pundit and is prepared to stick his neck out week after week.

Look at all the people on this forum who shout the odds but NEVER - EVER risk making an entry in our own Prediction league. :LMAO:

Fair play to him, he risks ridicule every week, other pundits?????

Anyone keep a log of Merson or Le Tiss? My recollection is that they are even worse.

Be nice if they actually asked him on Football Focus to explain now and again though.

It's a laugh, Chill out folks. **thumbup

I keep saying it but good I am glad he thought we would have lost, the day he starts predicting wins for us is the day to worry.

Neither I nor Tilton_bluenose were being serious.

Anyone who criticises someone for making a prediction they don't agree with needs their head looking at.
