I'm not getting carried away or anything and agree with the moving forward slowly approach and agree with Ales's comments after games with regards to Europe etc but just stop and think what the next 3 games could do for Blues. Remain un-beaten and advance in the cup (draw at Chelsea and bt Spurs) If the above happens we surely are then contenders for the top 8 at least Potentially lose the next 3 and move closer to Sunderland, Everton and alike and the feeling good factor as usual around Blues could disappear, especially if we sign nobody of any great recognition. Me, I am chuffed to bits with the season and if we don;t advance in the cup then no complaints as Everton are performing well now, lose to Chelsea, well fair enough but I would expect a pioint at least from Spurs Just think if we win all three eh!!! Up the Blues!!!!! |

I think we'll lose to Everton and Chelsea quite easily, we haven't played amazingly well for a while and think we'll be found out, but with our home record i do believe we can beat the Spurs Fans on our own turf. |

If we win all three, then I'll know that this is some kind of elaborate practical joke. I'd expect Jeremy Beadle, or his contemporary jester Rio Ferdinand to come out and go "Just joking, your team's been rubbish all along...". |

Its all about belief..and both us and Everton are in form results wise.but that said there will be no complaints from me regardless. Its not as if we get easy home draws like brighton ffs as for chelski and spurs we have performed well against both in the corresponding fixture and some could say misfortune cost us in both but pre season we would have hoped for a point at the bridge but expected nothing and hoped for 3 against spuds but settled for 1 |

if we win all three im going to start doing the lottery again!! we have a good chance of beating everton and advancing in the cup, but i am sure our run in the league will end at stamford bridge,, but hey! you no what? we will still be eighth! and the lads will get up,, dust themselves down and beat spurs. **thumbup |

I'm going for 6 points & the 5th round **thumbup No reason why not. I'm going to Chelski & I certainly don't intend to pay that sort of money to watch a match if we're not going to win it!!! (I'm putting my lucky pants on tomorrow - just to get them warmed up - hope they don't smell by next week  :ph43r: ) |

I see your point I have felt the same way through our run. But they have consistetntly defied us and others and got results including ManU and Chelsea no less. I agree it is more daunting to do it away from home. But this team keeps going they do have tremendous character. Yes the odds are we could lose both but we could gain something as well. If the players put in the performance they have shown the opposition have to put in really decent effort to beat us. Chelsea and Everton are playing well with confidence but we do see to have a knack of spoiling the party. If we keep it tight we do seem to be able to take chances when they arise. Also Benitez is getting there Everton and Chelsea are favourites for a result on their own turf but they will have to take a lot of care. Many teams out there dont fancy us. We keep it tight and we keep going at them. So it's nervous for them as it is for us possibly more so. |

Watched Everton the other day. They looked absolutely stunning. It is the game I'm probably least confident about (I can see us getting a point off Spurs and possibly Chelsea). |

I agree about Everton. If we field a weak side i think we take a hammering and likewise if the first team are not properly up for it. |

Everton are playing the best football in the league at the minute and i'm a bit worried about the cup game to be honest. We need to start better than the last time we played them, thats for sure... 2-0 Everton :crying: Chelsea will be tough as well because they are on a high again after their last two games... 1-1 at best :applause: Spurs is a game we can win if at our best...2-1 Blues :Blues: |

Everton though only scored two agaist man city from set pieces, they still create very little for all there posession. We soak pressure up well its whether we take our chances that decide games |

Bear in mind, things can change quickley in football, why we were lost 5 out of 6 previous to the run............. all pretty much down in the dumps if I remember right. |
