I love the songs we sing that just make me laugh, like when we're away and they have lots of empty seats..

They're here, they're there! they're every f@@ing where! empty seats... empty seats...

you only live round the corner! (when we play at home ofc.. I'd probably laugh even more if we sang it away :L)

Plus.. Never stop singing songs that help players out! like england number 1!

When we sang "I'd rather have a speed boat than Kanu" against the Baggies i thought that was so funny. My Vile mate says they sing to the happy days tune "Sunday, monday Habib Baye, Tuesday Wednesday Habib Baye" etc My Stokie mate says they have a song for Sonko that goes to the Macho macho man tune "Sonko, Sonko throw, we just wanna see a Sonko throw" apparently he has a throw to rival Delap's accept the trajectory is higher.

I liked Coventry's "We're all standing on a future block of flats", which was sung at Portsmouth. And our recent "We're going to Italy, you're going to Coventry..."

It makes me laugh how our fans have the audacity to sing that just a week after a 20,000 crowd at St Andrews.

I don't know why I love the "We Are Brummies" song. It's not witty, it's not clever, but I just love it every time we sing it.

not really nicked that one at all. no one sings a song like that, its just to the same tune.

alot of songs arent going to be completely original, but Villa only sing the same song as Newcastle invented.

and the Anarchy in the UK song was again another slightly nicked but also adapted.

and god forbid when someone invents a new song, everyone just slates it anyway! (scott dann?)

I like the Scott Dann song.

well i didnt say you didnt, but theres alot of people who moan about the same songs being sung (KRO, SOTV), but then they moan about any new ones that are sung - and the scott dann song is one ive heard quite a few people slating at home games.

easier to slate than to join in < <

rather be a sausage than an egg is a classic but its hardly lennon & Mcartney.

I despise the amount of times we sing v***a during a game...far more than we actually sing Birmingham City.. :banghead:

save it for the away games then ktcb (do you like I how I abbrev your name).

A tip for everyone regarding songs at St Andrews - I have noticed a song takes off when it originates from the Kop Corner (between the Tilton and the Kop). They also seem to be the best singers. So give them the songsheets and if you want a song starting just sing "Corner, Corner Give Us A Song" and they could start one off.

ha its an alright abbrev

i see what your saying, i wasnt havin a go at you in particular, i dont know what songs you like and dont like (altho i know you like scott dann song now :P )but it gets me down when our own original songs are just ignored by alot of fans, in favour of just copying other clubs generic chants like "who are ya".

And B25 i know what you mean about singing sotv alot during the game, although some of the others like dirty villa b****** are quite good i think. that said, they sing about us alot aswell! id say they are more obsessed with us than any blues fans are with them!

the dvb song is ok but not enough people know it or sing it...but it is the SOTV one that gets me
it should be reserved for when we play them in my humble opinion. They do sing songs about us but they have had to think long and hard about how to sing Birmingham and often use city or poorty or some other derogatory term ( which is fine as i hate them as well :P )

At Old Trafford on the opening day of the season for us, I must say I loved the

"See you... on the motorway" chant.

Funnily enough, all the way back to Birmingham we saw plenty of them
