Great result :applause:

Let's hope Lawro keeps predicting we'll lose :D

I'd like someone to check his predictions to the actual result (not necessarily score but at least win/lose/draw etc) - he would probably be on 7.5% correct.

'Expert' / 'Pundit' what a load of .............he aint got a clue

This team just defies all of us. Where do you start. They cost me a fiver I was hoping for a draw honestly didnt expect a win after what Everton did to Man City.

Phenomonal result.

Great result

We actually could have wrapped it up just after HT

Barry Ferguson was the Man of the Match......awesome

Is our name on the Cup ?.....well, the ribbons are (could be Chelsea though as they are the holders and the biggest obstacle)

pop the ball on his head. He has a decent headder for a small lad. I think he would get more that way.

Use his pace and skill to draw defenders out of position, lay it out wide, good cross, bang it in. Owen back when he was on the top of his game was a little lad (well he still is small) but he had a quality head on him and benitz is the same.

Excellent result.

It would be nice now to start pushing on and playing some football (2nd goal excepted)
Oh, after Wednesday of course, when we should play the same way.

Posession must have been over 70% Everton

Still that's what is working for us.
15 games unbeaten.
Amazing effort.

BBC website says 49% possession Everton, 51% Blues!!

W****r Webb gev them a free kick when the guy went through on a blues player, but before blueblood starts tearing in to me I thought he had a reasonable game, the first Blues goal was sublime the second, well you would think it was Brazil of the seventies speedied up, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, WE ARE UNBEATABL, WE ARE UNBEATABLE, onlly one ginger scotsman one ginger scotsman, :applause: well done Alex Roy and the other bloke, the football at times today was what I have dreamed of Blues playing since the late seventies, can we win this competition, well I doubt it, but AT LEAST I'M NOT A HAMMERS FAN and the Posted Image that goes with tthat.

To be fair the goal he got at Liverpool my missus could have put away. But, if it does fall onto his head he can score, although i wouldn't advocate swinging high balls into the box for him!

no but if the cross is put it at the right height it will be good for benitez to score, but also too low for most defenders to head, but too high for them to kick so could cause defenders trouble - again exactly the same with owen a good few years ago

If you haven't seen the 2nd goal, you're in for a treat. Sublime. The back heel round the corner from Faddy and Barry slotting it away cooly...tremendous.

Brilliant result for the team.

I watched it live on Setanta and would say:

1. First half we were terrific, quality, confident and Chucho worked so hard up front alone. McFads provided some great support but Larson needed to do more.

2. The commentators were rubbish - their condescending remarks didn't stop. And how many times did we have to hear about their win over Man City.

3. Jarvis showed a bit - great to see us developing a young lad so hopefully he will kick on. He will have benefited greatly from his involvement today.

4. We tired or went so defensive in the second half, we really needed to hold the ball up more in the middle.

One major negative from today - it was Joe Hart.

He didn't do anything (one save) to enhance his England chances as the back 4 were so good, Johnson especially was awesome and my man of the match.

You on about that foul in stoppage time?

I dont know why he gave that. Looked a foul the otherway but maybe there was something before by RJ on pienner but I doubt it.
