You know depsite all the spin from The Gollivans that they'll be tempted to cash in on some of their squad especially to give Zola funds for new players

Do you think it's a good time now to test their resolve and would they do business with us ??....even reluctantly

Parker would be a great buy......Robert Green is an England goalkpeer although he will likely leave in the summer (we neeed to go after Joe Hart first obviously) ........Carlton Cole is a promising young striker....English too

And we all know Pompey will be desperate to sell anyone.....we have already been linked to Belhadj and I think Dindane as well

Cant see Sullivan and Gold doing any business with us this month... cant see them selling all their best players so early in their reign come to think of it... they'll lose face immediately... I think Upson will go as he didnt really like them when he was here before, so they'll sell him, and replace him with a loan or dirt cheap signing, maybe not even any player, and use it towards paying off debts.

Then they'll want to go down in the summer to clear out all the deadwood and say that it was 'out of their hands' and 'too good to turn down'... like they did here.

IF we were to raid them clubs for anyone, they'd be hardly id take.

Rob Green - Dont need a keeper really, and should focus 100% on getting Joe Hart.

Scott Parker - Great player, would be a useful addition IMO, but Eck's signed Michel and near enough signed Gardner, and we have Ferguson and Bowyer so no place for him, plus they want £10m-£15m for him apparently.

Jack Collison - Good, young midfield prospect, can play all along the midfield, and just off the striker if need be... would probably command a decent fee though as West Ham want to keep him and not 'be a feeder club to anyone' no more, following the days of selling off the Ferdinand's, Lampard's and Joe Cole's of this world.

Mark Noble - Solid, young central midfielder, and one of West Ham's key men IMO. Captain from a young age there has stood him in good stead, and he's a feisty midfielder, but a good one who gets box to box all game.

Carlton Cole - For the fee they want, and the wages he'd probably want, its a big No from me. They'll want stupid money for him, and he'll want high wages, when really, all he is, is a more polished and glorified Jerome IMO. Focus our efforts on improving Jerome and bringing in someone else, rather than spend £15m+ on Cole.

Outside of those, im pushed to think of who else id have off Wet Spam.

From Portsmouth, its the same, theres not many that stand out really...

Younes Kaboul - Our starting centre halves are top drawer, and it wouldnt be fair to replace either of them. Plus, with Pompey wanting a fee of £10m+ for him, no thanks.

Jamie O'Hara - I know he's not their player, but id love him at Blues... he couldnt join till the Summer, but would be a good addition for me... can play all over the midfield, and even at full back in the worst emergencies.

Frederic Piquionne - Unsure about him. Thought he was awful when we played them earlier in the season, and its only been recently where he's pulled his act together and got a couple of goals. Would be a decent addition on the right wages for the right price though I think.

Nadir Belhadj - Great signing IMO. Plays all down the left side, gets forward, has a good delivery, has a bit of a spark and can make something happen.

Sully will sell players if the righth price comes around he is a business man after all.

But he would want their best players to go for amounts that they can replace players with... before they may have had to sell a Upson for £10-12M or Parker for £6-8M but Sully would now sell only if bigger offers come in.

Upson £15-20M as if they sold him for say £17.5M Sully will have to use some of that to clear debts and could then have upto half that he may use on replacement so if they only could get £10-12M for him he may ask can i replace him for £4-5M the answer would be no and they would be better keeping him.

Also he knows Yeung made this big pledge, he may even know some of Yeungs plans and have a rough idea of spending over next few years and so he would be looking to hike up prices for us.

Maybe the other way Sully may want some of our players, i would not be suprised if he could cash in on Parker for say £8-10M or more that he would indeed want a Bowyer back at the club after his form for Blues.

But Bowyer despite being a West Ham fan would not risk moving back as who can garuntee Zola would give him games.
