5 Tough Games Coming Up

Everton (a) in the cup, Chelsea (a), Spurs (h), Wolves (h), West Ham (a).

These games could shape our season. If we can manage to beat Everton in the cup (tall order, I know) & be in the hat for the 5th round, it might spark a bit of life into the club. Even a draw would get us into the hat, and might throw up a juicy tie like Villa at home or Albion.
The point is that we're probably not going to finish high enough in the league unless we can kick on from here and put a bit of pressure on Spurs, Man City etc. Damage limitation against Chelsea, victories over Spurs & Wolves would take us into the West Ham game with a lot of confidence, but one we could also do with winning to keep pace with the others. Are we capable of doing this? Yes, but we probably won't.

That's why the Everton game is our biggest of the season so far. It's the one realistic competition, with a bit of luck, we could win. It has to be the priority over the league right now, I hope McLeish plays his strongest team and goes for the win.

I've already predicted on an earlier post, that our unbeaten run will continue upto and including the home game against Wolves on the 6th of Feb. :fishing:

In that I punted for a 1-1 draw with Everton but we beat them today! :applause: so I think we may well get a result at WHU (that would be 20 games unbeaten in all competitions by the way!) who at the current state of play are 11 ponints behind us in the Prem. :LMAO:

KEEP RIGHT ON! :Blues:

Chelsea 2 Blues 1 :(
Blues 1 Spurs 1
Blues 2 Wolves 0
West Ham 0 Blues 1

Those are my predictions. 7 points from 4 games. Get us to 40pts from 25 games.

Chelsea 2-0 Blues
Birmingham 0-0 Spurs
Blues 2-0 Wolves
West ham 1-1 Blues

I think chelsea will end our unbeaten run but no shame it finishing at stamford bridge, i can see 4 points in next 4 games unless we sign babel, n'zogbia or pavlychenko we may beat spurs or west ham.
