sorry i know this is pointless and i could not care less what the cockney schmucks are doing. I am concentrating on us and our new fantastic board.

But it makes me laugh that they have already said about moving from Upton Park to the Olympic stadium and now they love the idea of calling them West Ham Olympic :)

true to form guys, in the press conference stating how bigger fans they are and its good to have english owners who appreciate the heritage of the club

then they pull 2 beauties out like that. Quality !!

Thank you for selling us to Carson Yeung. the fans feel appreciated and the board care about us.

Good Luck West Ham olympic The Cockney biast sun can put all the Spin on it they want. Sullivan and Gold are Business men not Supporters

Facting !!

I think she's great!!

I can't think of a London team that I dislike more than that lot (always disliked Trevor Brooking particularly!)

What a great way to wind them up - It's got to be a great shout when we play them... "OLYMPIC :applause: :applause: :applause: - OLYMPIC etc" :D

Aww, poor West Ham's main target, Van Nistelrooy has snubbed them for Hamburg.

Shame.

My favourite post:

Quote:

I would love to take my son over, but the costs of flying over & buying tickets, probably for a low key match, makes it a bit prohibitive. A reduction in ticket prices would be a huge motivation, at the moment I can look at spending around £100 alone for match tickets before factoring in any other costs.

Reduced prices would probably mean more spent in the club shop (I'm hoping they intend to overhaul this operation & make club kits available in regular sports shops in the future) & perhaps more visits in the future.

At the moment WHU, along with virtually all other PL clubs run the risk of alienating young kids through their ticket prices. Nearly everyone of my age on here was at UP alone from about the age of 12/13, paying to get in on pocket money alone. This does not happen anymore. We need to re-connect with our young supporters or the club may well have no long term future.

Good luck with the reduced ticket prices!

As someone points out on the thread, it's most likely a name for the stadium and not a name change for the club. It has however done what she wanted it to do in that even we are now debating and pushing up west hams stock.
