Well Howard Webb is actually on the pitch and if he thinks its a foul its a foul. From the benefit of your warm living room sitting down with your laptop viewing it on an illegal streaming site you might dissagree ofcourse. However, its gone, he didn't affect the result of the game and the last bit I saw he gave some correct cautions to everton. |

I'm a massive fan of Howard Webb. Proper decent bloke and the best referee in the country at the moment in my opinion. None of my mates who were at the game made comment on his performance, so it can't have affected the game that much! As MF says, who cares, we won! |

I know refs aren't perfect, but they've got a split second to make a decison which in then analysed by thousands of people with the benefit of about 8 different camera angles, and then they've got a bunch of testosterone fuelled millionaires screaming at them whichever decision they make. |

The refs performance only ever really seems to be spoken about when we feel hard done by following a loss. We've won, lets just praise the boys, rather than have to have a moan. |

Pardon? I'm sorry that you have an ill family member which you are looking after and I wish you and your family all the best. But I think you missed the point. I was getting at the fact that its the referee who made on the spot decisions from he saw infront of him in real time yet you decided to start a topic saying that he was shocking when he hasn't affected the result of the game and probably only made one wrong call (am I right username?). I dissagreed with your opinion and made a point of my own. As for the idiot and muppet comments. Is that dissent or foul and abusive language? :ph43r: |

Yeah he got one shockingly dissapointing decision wrong but at least he didn't have a part in their goal this time, and I am sure despite Blueblood's some times in oppertune moments, on this occasion I dont think he meant what he said to delibratly hurt your feelings and I am sure he respects the responsibility of a full time carer of a relative is not only an important one but one that at times goes completely un-rewarded let's just remember we are all blenoses eh. |

I've gotta support Blueblood on this one - he's speaking sense and made a very truthful and inoffensive post. |

I watched all the game at work, and I thought Mr Webb had a very balanced game. He got many decisions wrong on both sides. So this time it didn't effect the result, does that mean its right. No. The FA have strived for consistancy in referee's and they have it. They are all as bad as each other. |

He's one of the best in the league though, the other is the one who reffed the reading blues game last day of the season-they are both v good imo, or at least better than the rest. We'll always be complaining about ref's and decisions, so i guess we have to accept that they're only human |

There were a few decisions I questioned at the time but he played a very intelligent advantage leading up to our first goal (and actually also for their goal). No referee is perfect but he is one of the best |
