Just watching this garbage on sky. It`s the Man unt road show!! No mention of the FA cup, no mention of the form team in Britain  , not even a mention of our near neighbours getting a day out next month, just Man u, Man city and wet spam!!

The programme's topics has nothing to do with Sky television.

It is 4 national journalists reviewing the Sunday papers. If the Sunday papers are full of Man U, Man C and West Ham then that's what most of the programme will be about.

Back to the problem I keep banging on about, or at least a derivative of it. No FA Cup news on Sky, because they don't have the rights to it!

Back to the reason I banged on about - the subject matter for the programme is the Sunday Papers' back pages. Nothing to do with Sky.

Most back pages in my newsagents were Rooney 4 and the Man C-ManU Tevez/Neville. The Sully takeover is in most inside back pages.

So....it is hardly surprising that Sunday Supplement is covering these subject matters.

Why do people start threads like this without thinking first.

Spot-on.

I have now watched the first half of Sunday Supplement. How can anyone moan about it when every paper, tabloid and broadsheet, have not led or featured anything FA Cup on it's back pages or lead feature pages.

It's United - protests and Glaziers, United - Tevez/Man C, United 4-0 Rooney and West Ham takeover.

Not one Sunday is main, or sub-main, featuring the FA Cup.

The contents of today's Sunday Supplement programme is not a reflection on Sky or that the programme is a joke. It's a programme about all the Sundays back pages and lead-features and what today's programme certainly demonstrates is the lack of coverage of the FA Cup in the papers probably backing-up what I have said many times - the competition has been down-graded and is second-class, for more than 10 years now.

It was on Sky then. Maybe they're not responsible for what they broadcast. That sort of fits with my view of Sky in fact. Irresponsible.

Sully and Co must be over the moon. So far I have read about them in all the newspapers. I've even saw their bid for the Olympic stadium on the Sunday Politics show. Gold's write up as an Eastender and his Dad's brush with the Krays. As well as Karen's Sun newpaper column.

The good news is it wont be Birmingham City fans who have to walk around bowing to that lot any more, 'Yes Govnor, No Govnor three bags full govnor, thankyou so much for saving our club Govnor...'.

Now West ham a football club side that I have full respect for playing ggod football and entertaining the neutral on many occasion have to suffer it.

All they keep doing at the moment is going on and on about the 105m debt and how as a business concern it isnt worth a can of beans.

What they forget is that there will be West Ham fans who would give their all for that "can of beans". They see it as a privilege to own the club. When we suffered the same nonsense I excused them say well they are business people, they arent from Birmingham blah, blah, blah. This time though they have bought the club from their own manor yet they still wont allow the fans to have their dignity. It was the same when Sugar owned Totenham.

Those that really care for a football club any club dont publicise themselves because it's all about what happens on the pitch at the end of the day. I couldnt tell you the chairman of Arsenal but I know it's a well run club. Ive also never see him on the tabloids.

West Ham you have my sympathy and congratulations that you have them and we dont.

correct me if i am wrong but have we not discussed this before and most of the posts were in agreement that its full of b!!!!!!t paper media news journalist talking about the big four around a table of untouched coffee and cardboard croissants?

and yes there not talking up the FA cup because SKY do not have the rights, if they had there would be some mention of it, along with 4 goal Rooney.

its that type of thing that is belittling the FA cup, and now Arsenal are out the less said the better.

thank god the average football fan still think the FA cup is worth singing and talking about.

Sunday Supplement is a load of rubbish, four fools simply reviewing the days newspapers... basically regurgitating **** about the big sides in the country that the national media has put to print.

Sky have arguably the best football programs around in Soccer Am, Soccer Saturday, Goals on Sunday and Football First... Sunday Supplement just lets them down badly.

:o really?

the crowds (not only yesterday) over the last 10 years seem to contradict that statement.

over the last 10 years? do they?

Can you post the attendances then from say the last 15 years for all the top flight clubs of the respective year so we can see that the attendances have dwindeled in the last 10. After such a bold statement im sure you will be more than happy to back it up with the facts.

Sky (I think) did a report over the weekend aout the poor attendances. Didn't compare to years gone by, but against league attendances.
Terrible they were!

I dont doubt theyre dwn this year but that could be due to numerous things - such as we have had bad wether during the previous round - recession etc

however aparantly they have been down not just this year but for 10 years

Am I the only one who finds the Sunday Supplement quite interesting? I mean they talk about what ever is in the papers basically. So saying its all Man Utd and London clubs is wrong I have herd Blues on there many times when we have been in the news. I just find it interesting as tend to hear things that you wouldn't read about all the time.

I think its a good program and we have been mentioned loads of times during the season. Just because we were not this weekend means nothing, after all it is about what is making the headlines in football and that is the west ham takeover and the money problems at Man Utd and Liverpool. Who cares if we don't get mentioned,if you don't like the program then don't watch it but it's not like we are getting massive coverage anywhere else,
ITV never mentioned us once after beating Everton whilst only Hanson and Dixon stick up for us on the BBC and Sky are hit or miss But Keegan on ESPN says good things about us.

It's constantly reported, where have you been Pooley?

I suggest you stick to cake recipes and leave the football facts to the rest of us.

PS how many grammes of sultanas per 30g scone?

just as I thought.

If your going to come out with a big bold statement provide the facts to back it up.

And changing the subject is a little childish

I am not going to waste my time to get the facts just to prove to you.

If you choose not to believe that the FA Cup gates have been in decline over the last ten years then that's your look-out.
