If anyone at blues reads this board then please please endure we take our full allocation for this game

Derby hold 33K so i estimate that should be at least 6.5K

Just read this on Football Ground Guide:

"Away fans are located at one end of the stadium in the Winfield Construction (South) Stand, where the allocation is 3,100, although this can be increased to 5,600, for cup games."

5600 it is then

even though i read somewhere it was 20% for cup - if they have segregation issuesit will stay at 5600

Took the whole allocation for Forest and Derby is a much easier ground to get to with it being cheaper aswell.

Whole end behind the goal **thumbup

Last two times I've been to Derby with Blues (just down the road for me) I've got tickets in the Derby end - just sit on my hands and smile inside when we score. Bit tricky but ok. Would prefer to get tickets in the Blues end but refused to pay the Brady tax in the past - now that's gone I'll be there with all the noses!

We definitely will IMO.

It just all depends on how much we're given/decide to take up.

Anyone thinking of excuses for the missus already if its on Valentines? :LMAO: ?

Amazing response!!

Noone cared about the fa cup when there were less than 8000 home fans for the game against forest or that we couldn`t sell our full allocation for yesterdays game!!! All I heard then were tame excuses about how the fa cup doesn`t appeal any more, now we have a nice away game a few miles down the road for a passage into the quarter finals everyones interested again?

If the 'Missus' has been selected properly she should expect you to be going and disappointed if you are not.

My wife doesn't read this site so I'm pretty much safe, I think!I'll find someway of encrypting it just to be safe.

In response to your post which I fully respect you views . I think fans always take an interest and support the team but possibly didnt show it by turning up.
In the case of the replay I think there were a number of factors:

1. Midweek game not everyone can make it.
2. Lesser opposition.
3. January - everyone is broke and we have big games vs ManU and Totenham and Chelsea a lot of football over the past 6 weeks.
4. It was bloody freezing.

Total respect to those who did turn up.

In the case of away to Everton similar to above except I will be totally honest and I think many didnt expect us to get a result and this further slightly put them off. Im sure they are pleasently surprised and gutted that they didnt turn up to see the lads to so magnificently. I couldnt go because of work otherwise I would of but probably could of if I had known I could pay on the day. I needed this flexibility.

But again to go to Everton and win for the first time in 54 years. I have supported McLeish and the team but I cant believe how well the are doing.
I have been shocked. Ive followed Blues but like many I have always been ready for that "if only" moment. Maybe many like me are beginning to get some belief. Maybe you might call them glory hunters but whats wrong with enjoying seeing your team be successful for a change.

This team has shown the way and led by example. Many fans are/have missed out because they expected the run to end after 3 games. Now hopefully they will come flooding back and welcomed with open arms success breeds success.

4,600 to Forest.

So all those who went to Forest should be able to go to Derby.

Already a ST holder I know, who has never been to an away game ever (that's ever) is on about going toDerby so she and her hubby can get the "best tickets" for Wembley..................................things are getting nasty already. What about all of the folk on here (including me) who regularly go to away games.

PS I suppose one could say I am stirring it - I have Wembley tickets (2) anytime for any any event - so I am not. I just hope the Blues admin have their computer records and can employ such information realistically.

I think that would be a real waste of limited club reserves.

If we make the final I'm in trouble asit'll be another expensive airfare - but I son hope we do.

I've been to both our away games in the Cup and sat freezing my t1ts off at the Forest replay, so I'll be VERY disappointed if I miss out on a Derby ticket!

not me..others, like I said in my post above - already two people I know who are wanting to go to Derby "just in case" for ticket stubs and best possible seats at Wembley.

I agree with you about jumping the gun.

:Blues:

1. we`ve sold out midweek games before!
2. derby is "lesser opposition" so noone wants to go then?
3. january everyone is broke, it was only £15 for season ticket holders.
4. freezing!! it was minus 6 three days before but it was a sell out!

as for welcoming glory hunting fans onto the bandwagon I just hope that with limited space on the wagon for derby (5000) that some loyal fans don`t get pushed off to accomodate them!

Surely she would get priority for Wembley tickets if she's a season ticket holder anyway?
