Apparantly Peggy Lee - Manana (Is Soon Enough For Me) was the most popular song on 29/03/1948

I remember Why by Anthony Newley.

"I'll never let you go WHY because I love you"
I'll always love you so WHY because you love me"

See told you I was old. :D

'Why' by Anthony Newley.....just for you TT

He played The Artful Dodger in the original 'Oliver Twist' film as well (1948)

Here's the Donny Osmond version too if you feel like throwing up ......This was recorded ten years before he started shaving :banghead:

I knew I shouldn't have done it. I have been putting off playing the Donny Osmond version for a couple of days but curiosity got the better of me. Thanks Parti I've just threw up all over my keyboard.

Probably Cole Porter's 'Night & Day' sung by Fred Astaire from the stage show 'Gay Divorce'.
