Nothing like self interest...i want them to survive because of their excellent supporters..they are the only ones who are deserving of any help in this sorry mess. |

It's a double whammy for Gold if Pompey go bust. The Hammers go bottom and Brum get to Wembley. How much would that hurt him? Although I'm sure he's only got Portsmouth's interests at heart............. :silence: |

They wont go out of business this year, that new guy wont want to lose his 20 million so would prob bail them out and add cost to the sale of the club. |

I think the tax man will all it can to keep it alive. If the government allow Pourtsmoth to go to the wall there is going to be an awful lot of upset Portsmouth fans and with tha banks getting help when they needed it. The government wont want anyone to point the finger right before an election. Portsmouth win be wound up by the tax man, thereatened maybe but they wont actually do it. (imo) |

Gold has just been on TalkSport about offering to Bail out Pompey himself with a £10m loan, to be repaid from their parachute payment. Says the offer is out of his love of football - methinks he's very worried about West Ham losing the 4 points if Pompey go under. Meanwhile, Sully is offering ST's for last 6 games for £170 and club shirts for £10 - or 50 quid for a shirt signed by the first team. Trying to scrape some dosh together it seems. |

Well, we shouldn't have kick-started their season for them. |
