Here you go.
90% of Tatt's answers.
Confirmations on money, debts etc. Opinions on out-of-contracts etc Defending publishing stuff about the Sullyman and Co.
You'll have to guess most of the questions like, it's hard work this:

[Comment From Barry] Hi Colin, is the relationship between Alex and the board still good ? Alex made some comments about wanting more conrol over transfers ......
Colin Tattum: He has not made any public comments to that effect. The relationship is fine. Carson Yeung rates him for what he has done and how he has handled himself. He has made it clear that he should have the final say on players, and those wishes have been accepted
Colin Tattum: I think you don't have to be a genius to work out that a fair few of the players out of contract might not be offered new terms. That was part of the reason why Taylor and Johnson went. Franck, Carsley and McSheffrey for instance
12:12 Colin Tattum: Boselli, the manager didn't know enough about him to go ahead with a permanent transfer, and a loan couldn't be arranged, before the January window shut. They will be looking at him in the meantime to see if he's what they might want to add to the squad
Colin Tattum: Doyle has said himself he will look to leave. I would imagine Maik Taylor will sign for another year
12:16 Colin Tattum: I will be interested to see Capello's next squad for the Egypt. Dawson would probably be considered ahead of the Blues pair at this juncture, although Capello does go on form, not reputation
Colin Tattum: I'd have the Blues pair on a par with Cahill and Dawson personally...and Ridge next up for left-back!
Colin Tattum: Midfield for next season, Michel and Gardner will be pushing Bowyer and Ferguson, that's what the manager hopes for. I think there may be a left-back and possibly cover on the right, too. McGeady and N'Zogbia remain on the list, they have spoken to Boyd and his people, he will choose from a list of options
Colin Tattum: I understand the comments re the old board, DS, DG. However, they remain relevant to the club's immediate future, were here for almost 17 years, and if they say something that is interesting/controversial, then we are not going to ignore it. It's like saying just because Trevor Francis no longer manages or plays for Blues we should therefore ignore him
Colin Tattum: Mat, humour is lost on some! Dann for Liverpool rumour is just that. Blues don't need to be selling their best players any more.
Colin Tattum: Blues didn't take Barnes because of his injury record and the fact that they have enough players to go wide. Had they been a Championship club, it might have been different. The days of trying out players of his ilk eg de la Cruz for short term have gone, and should go
Colin Tattum: Just easing Michel in. Difficult to assimilate him. I think he could be quite a player, like a Carrick, when he has settled and has had a pre-season behind him
Colin Tattum: Blues more likely to bring through Chinese youngsters via Academy route than sign Chinese players because, simply, they can't get work permits for the current pros and they are not good enough
12:34 Colin Tattum: bluekng...the money has been promised, it is there. I have been told or discovered nothing to the contrary
Colin Tattum: Players I predict would be on their way, either summer or in time, are: Bent, Carsley, Doyle, McSheffrey, Queudrue, Tainio. Uncertain future in summer: O'Connor, Parnaby, Murphy. Phillips, Larsson. Don't think there are any surprises there. And that's just my opinion
Colin Tattum: Bridging loan was paid back. Ages ago. Accounts for the last financial year are due out any time. A heavy loss is expected. Blues are not in debt like a Man U or others etc
12:41 Colin Tattum: JohnR, let's wait and see. The squad needs an overhaul and it won't come cheap, although there will be some 'natural wastage' re players out of contract
Colin Tattum: Peter Pannu is meeting with the City Council to see what their views are on a new stadium, where it could be, and funding. They haven't ruled out redeveloping St Andrew's either
Colin Tattum: Benitez and Jerome are worth having in a PL squad that has other top quality strikers too. Give them credit for what they have done: when they came together the 15-game unbeaten run began. Yes. they haven't got the goals and it is a team ethic too, but I think they've been easy targets as we all want our strikers to be Rooney or Defoe

Whilst I dont really want to read anything from that lot... myself, studying Journalism, I do understand why.
Their comments and responses to our board members will sell papers, and gather interest in the paper... and improve website hits... thats what the papers want (more selling papers of course, but the others are good for them too).
To simply ignore the story would be irresponsible of the journalist, and the Mail wouldnt be happy with him for not listening and writing up the comments.

Tatt's analogy is spot on.
Some people are interested in old players, owners and managers.
Today we have a new link to Ricky Otto on this forum all about him being a probation officer. What is more relevant to our club, probation officers or ex-owners on the verge of litigation?
There is room for both imo, and if I choose not to follow up or read certain topics, I don't.
Neither do I enter the thread to spout some verbiage that contributes nothing except an over heated opinion.

hootie, good luck if you want to try and get through life with only Good News.
If you want to know the facts about things, you have to listen to all sides, the Good, and unfortunately the Bad.
No one likes to read about her Queening it up, bragging about how much she's made out of football...and blues. But that is reality.
It may be depressing, but it is a learning curve for all of us. Especially those who once thought the sun was located on her person.
