I'm liking the sound of this.

Do you have experience of this place?
If so, some guide on exact location and hotel would be very much appriciated.

Benidorm in 4 weeks for my stag weekend :)

Then Dartmouth with the new Mrs Raters for 4 nights. Love Dartmouth, no kiss me quick hats or chavs to be seen anywhere!
A full honey moon to follow later in the year once we've moved.....any idea's folks? Somewhere warm, beatiful and different.

St Lucia or Antigua

Cancun, Mexico

Fort Myers (Sanibel) or Key West in Florida

New York City ......take a trip to Niagara Falls as well.....1 hour flight or 6 hour drive from The Big Apple

If your budget cannot stretch that far......Marbella (Costa Del Sol) or Madeira are good sunny bets

Or you can't go wrong with Paris, Venice or Rome

We thought about a two centre break including NY as my Brother lives in NJ.

Interesting, like the idea of Niagra Falls **thumbup

I was in Salerno, which is a lovely place with good food and relaxed bars. I think there's a place called Midori which had the beaches. There's also Naples nearby for shopping. Bit rough in Naples though.

I didn't stay in a hotel I'm afraid.

The wife is considering a trip to the Kitchen  :silence:

Personally, I'm hoping to pop over to Brum (my birthplace and spiritual home)  in the next 2 or 3 months......Might even be back for the Blues v Villa game on 25th April but of course I have to accpet it's highly unlikely I'll be able to get a ticket

May even try and go earlier (April 10th) if we get them in the FA Cup semi final

Either way, I'm coming home for a week or so.....can't bloody wait  **thumbup

One other trip i'm planning is a weekend trip to either New York City or Seattle this summer or fall

let me know when you come back, me you and lowdham can nip to greggs for a sausage roll and a chat

Don't forget Jassy and Caveman

They want to buy me a pint as well :drink: :drink:

The Spotted Dog off Digbeth I think

Although it's more likely you'd see me in the Emerald Club on Green Lane

------------------------

a pint and a sausage roll, if someone gets you a frency fancy you have pretty much all a man could want right there - sausage roll, pint and a french fancy, what an ace dinner, covers all the food groups **thumbup

Back to the thread...I have just come back from paris and it was cold as hell when it freezes over, like reallly cold. I dont think you can guarentee the weather anywhere though. I would maybe like to go away somewhere again but not sure where or when. The alps were lovley where I went last year.

If this get together happens I wouldn't mind joining you all for a beer or two, providing you want my company obviously. I am not a fan of the sausage roll but Gregg's pasties and slices are spot on.

On topic a holiday is unlikely for me this year due to work commitments but I am spending 3 days in the Cotswalds for a friends wedding which is about as close as I am going to get to one.

For my 30th bathday in May the good lady Dixi is taking me away somewhere outside of the UK. I'm wondering how she'll pull it off, but it will be fun watching.

after atrocious weather last year in cornwall im planning to go south of france anyone been down there and can reccommend a decent low budget
great weather guaranteed place to drive to, without paying for a new house on the toll roads

I own a villa in Cyprus we go there every May and from there we go on tours to Egypt Turkey and all the Greek Islands aswell as Kenya, No not all at the same time we have perhaps one trip out of Cyprus a year but this year we are flying across to Gambia for two weeks then back to Cyprus for the rest of the summer and back in time for the first home match

Gambia is amazing, especially near Kotu Beach. Banjul and Serrakunda is also an 'experience' not to be missed.

Where are you staying?

I don't think the rest of us want to see your missus try and "pull it off" for your 30th birthday...

Thanks for that, we were looking at the same places and have been on the phone to Air Cyprus and managed to get two weeks all inclusive £400 each for me and wife, we manage to save a fortune by booking in Cyprus and not here.
