For my 30th bathday in May the good lady Dixi is taking me away somewhere outside of the UK. I'm wondering how she'll pull it off, but it will be fun watching.

Too much information mate, :)

Just shows the British attitude to a nice bit of sun.No wonder the foreigners laugh at us. You can always wear a hankie on your head. :silence:

Baron, not trying to be funny mate, but a hell of a lot of continental families go
there as the attitude to nudity is completely different to over here, although
plenty of Brits make it first choice hol. Made plenty of friends from all walks of
life and they usualy go there every year. It is not exactly a cesspit of "preachers hell", and you would be surprised at how civilised the place is.Top class, oh and no yobs. :applause:

The wife is considering a trip to the Kitchen  :silence:

Personally, I'm hoping to pop over to Brum (my birthplace and spiritual home)  in the next 2 or 3 months......Might even be back for the Blues v Villa game on 25th April but of course I have to accpet it's highly unlikely I'll be able to get a ticket

May even try and go earlier (April 10th) if we get them in the FA Cup semi final

Either way, I'm coming home for a week or so.....can't bloody wait  **thumbup

One other trip i'm planning is a weekend trip to either New York City or Seattle this summer or fall

let me know when you come back, me you and lowdham can nip to greggs for a sausage roll and a chat

Don't forget Jassy and Caveman

They want to buy me a pint as well :drink: :drink:

The Spotted Dog off Digbeth I think

Although it's more likely you'd see me in the Emerald Club on Green Lane

------------------------

a pint and a sausage roll, if someone gets you a frency fancy you have pretty much all a man could want right there - sausage roll, pint and a french fancy, what an ace dinner, covers all the food groups **thumbup

Back to the thread...I have just come back from paris and it was cold as hell when it freezes over, like reallly cold. I dont think you can guarentee the weather anywhere though. I would maybe like to go away somewhere again but not sure where or when. The alps were lovley where I went last year.

If this get together happens I wouldn't mind joining you all for a beer or two, providing you want my company obviously. I am not a fan of the sausage roll but Gregg's pasties and slices are spot on.

On topic a holiday is unlikely for me this year due to work commitments but I am spending 3 days in the Cotswalds for a friends wedding which is about as close as I am going to get to one.

Jim always welcome matey, this will be a great party

Pooley and co

Still trying to finalise some plans but hope to be in the Midlands by next Tuesday or Wednesday (6th or 7th)

Have to stay a few extra days as a good mate of mine suffered the tragic loss of his mom after a long illness so I'm going to the funeral (Acocks Green vicinity) on the 15th

Should be able to do the Hull game if there's any cash left ......mates have offerded to buy me a ticket (they're a great bunch of Noses) , think they're only twenty quid , Grade C game , not sure what part of stadium yet, Kop or Tilton most likely.....I sat in the Main Stand last time but this time hoping to try another part of SA to check out the stadium and liven the dormant ones up .......I might bring my bugle and 'Jack in the box'

I'll keep you posted closer to match

England.... **thumbup

Yes, arrived yesterday am......after battling the Paddington and Marylebone Underground escalators and rescuing my huge luggage from the jaws of an electronic barrier , I arrived in Warwickshire at my sister's place

Still jet lagged and have caught an English cold already and have gone through 4 pints of Carling already :drink:

Taking a walk up to the village boozer later on for a cure :drink: and will be enjoying some good old fish and chips in Hockley Heath tomorrow for a 54th birthday treat :drink: with a pint of course

My mates are supoposed to be getting me a ticket for the Hull game but I won't catch up with them until this weekend when I hit the sordid environs of Birmingham itself##

Hope BA don't go on strike again ......otherwise I'll have to stay and do the Burnley game too :banner:

KRO everyone
