We all like to think we could be as good as the McLeishs, Fergusons, Wengers of this world, well now's your chance to show if you can be.

Xpert Eleven is an on-line football management game, where you compete against other people in a league. Most of the managers are off this forum, so have strong Blues links, but we don't mind supporters of other teams joining. It costs nothing to play and will give you loads of enjoyment, but takes up very little of your time.

We had a good uptake for new managers in the recent thread and several other people were interested in joining but we were full at the time. Some teams, where the managers have not turned up may now be open to new managers.

If you would like to take over one of these teams, the best thing to do is send a PM to the league admin, ESONEULB, on this forum and he'll release one of the teams for you.

If you are interested, click on the link below to go to the website, then click on JOIN. Our league ID is 77194.

Xpert Eleven Link

Can I also remind existing managers who may not have visited their team for a while to just pop on and choose your players and tactics for the next match so that you don't lose your team? Matches are only once a week, or twice if you're in a cup competition, so it should not take up much of your time.

Our managers are a friendly bunch, and will only be too pleased to help you to get to grips with how to play the game, but it really is quite easy.

It takes a bit of time to build up a team, but stick with it, because it's a load of fun.

For those who are really interested, you can also have a team in the Xpert Leagues as well as the one you have in the BluesViews League.

would I be right in saying that it can be quite time-consuming? I'd be very interested otherwise

It can be as time-consuming as you want it to be. Some just go on once or twice a week.

First they check how their match has gone, then they set the training and plan their team and tactics for the next match.

They then pop in on a Friday to do the sponsorship event, which is just a case of clicking 'continue', and this gives 'money' for their team.

Others are on virtually every day, but that's not needed.

There's also several of us who will happily help you get to know how to play the game.
