I prefer Clattenburg to most referees to be honest.

He's nowhere near as bad as Uriah Rennie, now that guy was a joke.

Mike Dean, Peter Fowler and Steve Bennet are another three who are worse then Clattenberg.

In fact come to think of it are there really any good refs around. Not that I would want their jobs in a million years.

Deffo the best young ref in the counrty, however all refs make mistakes get on with it ffs, Webb is the best around and he missed a stonewall pen sat week ands he was within five yards of it at the time.
IT all evens itself out over a season!

Hang on, correct me if im wrong by all means but isn't this the same ref that gave a goal when the ball went about 6 yards wide of the goal in the reading match

He was the ref when Mendes scored from the half way line for Spurs v Man U though and it went about 3 yards over the line and was disallowed wasn't he?

Who cares. We all make mistakes.

Its funny how some people are so critical of something they've never done or even have the ability to do at under 12s never mind the Premier League.

Yeah, terrible decision for him not to see it from a distance where it's difficult to see the goal line, let alone where the ball landed.

I always thought of him as one of our best referees. I hope he doesn't prove me wrong now.

Unusually for Big Eck he was very critical of the ref after last night's match particularly about a foul on RJ by Samba which was not given in the build up to one of Blackburn's goals.

What sort of game did the ref have does anybody know?
