I disagree, I don't think his injury problems were managed properly while he was here... The situation has improved massively since he went back to Blackburn and under Allardyce in particular who is known for his knowledge of the technical side of the game... I wish he was still here... |

Mr Crosby Yea your probably right bet he loved being strapped to that bed without moving for three months when he could have been playing footy instead, he probably had that risky back operation just to waste time as well yea good shout I hadnt thought of that angle!!!!! KRO |

Hang on. It was Blues who got him fit, they arranged and paid for the operation on his back which was causing his hamstring problems. He was 100% fit fit when he went back to Blackburn. He cost us a great deal in wages. |

I thought his open letter to the fans after he left showed a touch of class. Came across as a top bloke. |

I'm aware Blues picked up the bill for his operation but how many times before that was he rushed back before promptly breaking down again? |

I agree with you on that But that was before they diagnosed what was causing all the problems with his hamstrings. Blues spent a lot of time trying to find the cause of his injuries and it needed a major operation to cure him. |

He was, and still is a top quality player. He could create chances and had great vision. I think Bruce played him out of position on the left wing, prefering to play 2 more defensive central midfielders. Dunn didn't choose to be injured. He lost a fair chunk of his career because of them. One of the most skillful players to play for Blues, he has never slagged the club or the fans. I fail to understand some fans hostility towards him. |

i don't think his heart was ever in the Blues. I liked him but seriously his love for Blackburn will never be matched, even by wages, which is commendable on his part. I don't think he could relate to souness and hence the reason he was sold by blackburn. I always get the impression he's one of these players that needs an arm round him Despite his injuries i think he played ok when he played, that was the trouble he couldn't play all the time, injured for the most part. However I think he deserves to be better thought of than Gobbie |

I thought he was useless, overweight t*** summed up by the fact he returned to Blackburn and lost two stone in weight. |

Totally agree as well Great player and I don't think there is much anyone can do about niggly injuries whoever the player may be Even Michael Owen's reputation has been worn thin over the last 3 years or so and Alan Shearer had to finally have expensive surgery in the USA to cure his long standing knee problem at the height of his career Dunny was great .....Thought he was out of order to criticise the club over not caring about him though after he left Tarnished his 'rep' a bit did that comment......I mean we did pay for all his medical treatment after all Still think he could have broken into the England squad had he not been so injury prone KRO |

I loved Bruces reaction after, considering we just lost the ball in an attacking position, he couldn't help but have a chuckle. |
