And with albion up for next season it is going to be good, must say Wolves are playing much more attractive football than us by a mile... what a player Doyle is.

i find it kind of funny that in the Transfer Talk section, during the summer, we had posters saying they wouldn't want Doyle at this club if he were the last striker available...

Yeah, but it's easy with hindsight isn't it...to be fair, I've always rated him...don't think he'll ever be a great goalscorer mind, but what a handful for defenders

Doyles a good player. I'll admit i didnt rate, until we played wolves at st andrews.

He's strong, quick, got a good leap, good headerer of the ball, hold up play was good and his overall movement was good. he caused Dann and Johnson a few problems.

I was most impressed with Wolves last night. Good football all round, McCarthy's doing well.

As you say West Brom up and hopefully Forest too. That's 6 Midlands clubs in the Prem - getting close to the 8 in the seventies.

PS I loved the camera panning the Trotters and guests at 0-3.

Right there with you all, been a long time since I have wanted the dingles to win a game so much but I so want to see Sully and Gold get relegated. In fact such is my enthusiasm at seeing Sully and Gold in the Championship I would even be happy if the vile beat them!! :o

Nottingham's the "capital" (Not sure of the correct word) of the EAST midlands.

 Quality.

The 'appy 'ammers don't appear that happy.

The majority want Zola out and are slating the Trotters for not looking at what is needed now but looking to the future ie the Olympic Stadium on the cheap.

Oh the Trotters, they just can't change.

PS I noticed the West Ham BigScreen was screening the game live (mmm that costs money). Well that will change next season - static teamsheets and adverts I think will be order of the day.

Yeah I agree they do play very good football, but I wouldent say its better than what we play, Ive loved watching u pass the ball around this season and we have played some equally great stuff this season.

doyle scored his 7th goal this season - people are commenting on what a player he is...what about our own cameron? How many of you who out the boot into him after evry game actually know how many he has scored this season?

Just a thought.

This is quite something. Considering Wolves were as good as down after we beat them at St. Andrew's.

If the Baggies come up now, which they really should, next Season really will be brilliant. :banner:

Doyle is not all about just scoring goals he is the engine of that Wolves side picking the ball up deep and just going through defences like a knife through butter, I like jerome but Doyle has so much more to his game and will not be at Wolves much longer IMO.

There is more to a players game than just goals, Doyle is a more well rounded striker than jerome who is more about pace and strength at the moment. and 7 goals for wolves is still a very good tally.
