expecting a very scrappy game but if we play like we did after the 30 minute mark against Sunderland we should win

apart from Everton away in the FA Cup, have we ever won in this season's black strip btw?

It's not the team they gave on BRMB. They said they expected it to be the same team as against Sunderland but with Bowyer coming in for Michel, and McSheffrey for Fahey.

McSheffrey? That's not even possible.

If it is a McFadden/Jerome partnership up front, I won't be very happy.

Jerome/Benitez created so many chances at the weekend!

McFadden is good enough.

He was our best player up front at Fulham the other week, and was decent in the game following that.

However, id like to have seen Chucho start, he and Jerome up front cause all sorts of problems through pace alone...just look at Saturday's game.

McFadden is good enough....IN MIDFIELD!

Jimmy Mac is never a striker and detracts from our attacking performance when he plays there! He's best given a free role behind a front two, otherwise we have very little options going forward when played straight through the centre.

1929: TEAM NEWS Blackburn v Birmingham
Blackburn's 18-year-old defender Phil Jones, who performed sensationally in his debut against Chelsea on Sunday, keeps his place in an unchanged team for Rovers. Two changes for the visitors Birmingham with Lee Bowyer and James McFadden coming in for Michel and Christian Benitez.
